Hello from Pa

Post by Pafisher » Sun Feb 09, 2020 9:27 pm

My name is Brian and I just purchased a tp9sf. I love how the trigger feels and how the gun shoots. The only thing i am disliking is how hard it is to find a good holster for competition. I purchased a blackarch IWB holster for EDC from a friend who had a tp9da( works great after a quick mod to grind down the lip so mine would slide fully in.) I want to start shooting uspsa matches since I now have a gun I can confidently use. But I am having a problem finding a holster for use in matches. Also where is the best place to purchase hase more mags for it. Thank you for having me and I look forward to participating and talking to other members alot more knowledgeable than me.

Welcome to the forum. Smoky Mountain Concealment makes holsters and mag carriers for competition.

Welcome to the forum!

I have a SMC, which I use for IDPA, and a Red Hill Tactical for USPSA. The Red Hill is a stiffer holster due to the double layered Kydex, it's the one I prefer of the two. I just like the feel on the draw better. Both are really nice quality.

I was looking at the red hill. I did order one but the lead time is a little long. Dont know if it will be here by my first match. I am thinking of trying to alter the one that came with it to get me through till it comes. Thank you for the help
