New Member Mark from Maryland

Post by MarkAR15 » Thu Sep 12, 2019 6:34 pm

Hi!
New to the Forum.
My name is Mark and I’m from Southern Maryland.
I just bought my first handgun, a Canik TP9 SF ELITE S.
I’ve taken it to the range twice. Getting a little better each time. I had heard that it takes just getting used to the trigger. I really like it.
I have other firearms as well. A Ruger AR 556 and a 410 and 12 gauge shotgun, but the Canik is my first handgun.
It’s a process in Maryland getting a handgun but worth it.
I hope to learn a lot in this Forum.

Welcome, and enjoy the Elite-S. I have one, though for myself, never use the "S".

Welcome Mark........ I went to school up in Baltimore 67-69. Back then we had 2 students in the school that asked permission to keep a gun in their dorm room. Permission was granted by school director. Both got SA Ruger revolvers- 357 and 44. The only restriction was to not load guns on campus. They did not even have to get permits from city, state, county. There are several pictures of them in the yearbook with their guns.
Things change.
