Another pretty added to your collection. You need to start selling tickets to the museum...I was in Phoenix last month and missed my chance.

Dang, you were close by.

Yes, this is a really great piece, especially with three barrels. 25.5, 27.5 and 29.5. Different chokes marked by asterisks.

I need to replace the butt pad back to original. Found one, they were bone.

These were two shot capacity, very light recoil for a 12 gauge. Hand assembled at the time, scrolling was done by hand. Great find!

Just received an email from Browning.

Hello,
Thank you for the email. That would be a 1960 model with a Hiduminium receiver.

Sincerely,
Browning Customer Service

Five years into production, 59 years old. It’s a keeper!

I’ve been cleaning it up and removing the homemade butt plate. Found an original which was bone. Lucky to find one.

As you can see it was double sided taped. Surprised the stock screws were there. Installed the 29.5 inch barrel, takes about 20 seconds.

My turn to talk about new editions in the past month:

1) Henry Lever action Golden Boy .22 Mag, Octagon barrel
2) Henry Lever action .22 LR, basic model; just because I liked the Golden Boy, but needed a cheap plinker to toss in the truck and have fun anytime...
3) Rock Island 1911 10mm - a buddy is minimizing stuff and I didn't want to buy his GMC truck.
4) GSG 1911 .22 LR - ditto - and by not buying his truck, I saved $37,000; but somehow the wife doesn't understand this logic.

Yep, I just bought a new Canik Subcompact and an SFX Mod2.0 in FDE to go with my other two Canik's, adding almost $1,000 to Century Arms' bank account.

(Oops, just a dream. Maybe next year...)

Finished the Browning Twelvette. Couldn’t use the bone butt plate as at some point in its 59 year life someone had cut the stock. Not uncommon.

I went with the Pachmayr decelerator as the white stripe compliments the white hand applied scrolling. LOP is perfect. This was the first butt plate I have installed. Somewhat time consuming but worth it. 27.5 inch barrel installed.

Cherished piece. NFS.

Interesting way to clean your guns...How do you fit them in the Whirlpool washer and dryer?

Looks very nice , what about wooden parts ? Maybe turn them to nice silky oil finish?

I used some English Oil on the wood. For 59 years old it’s a sweet piece. Pats are available but I don’t foresee needing any. Leaving it as stock as possible.
