TP9 SFX range report

Post by maddmaxx1961 » Wed Feb 06, 2019 8:15 pm

The more that I shoot this the more I love it. It cycles great with normal 115gn ammo but my 124gn reloads were loaded to light for it with the stock spring. The trigger is good and I can live with the long take up but I wish that it had a nice crisp trigger break like my Sig. With the TP9 you hit the wall and then pull a little and it moves just a bit and is kind of mushy. At this point any more pressure and it fires but I can't feel a distinct break like on other guns. It does have a nice short reset. This is a keeper for sure. I may try an aftermarket trigger to see if it is better.

Thanks for the video. That looks great and better than stock. May have to try the trigger and springs.

Took my son shooting today and he shot the SFX with red dot for the first time. He is now a Canik Fanatic! He could not shoot his new 4.5" XDM 9 as accurate as the SFX. I put the lighter recoil spring in that Century sent and the SFX now shoots my lower power reloads just fine.
