TP9 SF Elite/Combat Elite/SFX Reduced Power Spring Kit

Post by GallowayPrecision » Thu Dec 27, 2018 9:04 am

The SF Elite/Combat Elite/SFX Reduced Power Spring Kit is up on the website and shipping now. No more bastardized GLOCK/Walther springs for the Canik, we sent our springs off to our spring maker to have springs make specifically for the Canik TP9 pistols.

I just installed the kit for the V2/DA in one of my TP9DA's, and it was an easy upgrade. I watched the instructional video first and no problems at all. Also, it reduced the pull on my DA trigger from 10 to 8lbs in double action, and from 5.5 to 4.25 in single action. Very easy upgrade and well worth it.

So my SFX is right about 5 pounds with my Freedomsmith trigger, is that 1 pound really noticeable?

It definitely will be, especially on your split shots during competition. Once you get used to the lighter pull you can run the pistol even faster.
