Did everyone whose a member of the CF Facebook group catch the post today from the Century Arms rep about the Sub Elite giveaway? Looks like the gun will be available by October. Not sure who all is wanting one, but I know I'll definitely be saving my pennies to purchase one.

Before you guys buying Sub Elite , please be sure you are checking and sure about this details.

- sub elite only coming with one Red dot plate. There is no 5 plates option like other models and these plate not suitable for Sub.
- Sub has diffrent recoil spring which is unknown for upgrades for moment. Regular TP9 has single recoil spring , sub has double. (Still hard to recharge)
- Sub has +3 and +5 Magazine extended. Please be sure you get them in box (If they will give it) , otherwise not best shooting for grip.

Is the trigger SA or DA. if it’s going to be a carry gun then I personally want it to either be DA or have a safety that I can engage when holstering. I’m not into GLS ( glock leg syndrome ).

SA only. Looks like overseas there's an option with the "trigger stop" just like the Elite-S has. I could be wrong, but I thought I saw a pic of one awhile back with the trigger stop. I would love a DA only, or DA/SA version of this gun. But I doubt that will ever happen.

This new Sub Elite pistol in a DA/SA variant would be THE perfect carry gun. I'm not as enamored as I thought I would be with my new TP9sf Elite. Grip length is fine but the barrel/slide is one inch too long. YMMV

My daily carry is the Walther P99c, and it would be hard for me to give it up. 3.5" barrel, DA/SA striker fired with 10 round capacity. To me, it's the perfect gun and really wish Canik would offer the sub Elite in a DA/SA option.

... And that's odd to me. I would be a lot more interested in a Sub-Elite size frame with an Elite-length slide. In my experience, the grip length is the most difficult to conceal for carry. I'm intrigued at the thought of a long-slide sub-compact double-stack carry piece!

If they offered the Sub with the TP9DA trigger I would snap one up in a heartbeat.

I'd just be happy with a DA Elite. First.

Now that it is hopefully actually getting close to being available, one really has to think about laying out the cash.

A lot of good points made above, and my two cents is that if I am not going to carry it (because of the lack of thumb safety) and it won't be a front seat gun (ditto, and my Kimber .380 does double duty as both) and it won't be a nightstand gun, then where does it fit? The red dot support is interesting but I'm never going to put a red dot on it.

Just because I want it because it is a cool Canik? Maybe.

So that brings us to what it might be worth to have a cool Canik. With the Elite at $380 on the street, what should the Sub-Elite sell for? $350? (It's smaller...) $400 (It's NEW!) More? Less? Thoughts? (Bonus points for calling the actual street price when it comes out.)

Generally with slide cuts guns sell for $100 more then non cut models. So I'd expect it to be around $100 more then what the regular Elite sells for. Wouldn't expect it to sell for less then the Elite cause its subcompact, most other manufacturers keep price points about the same ie g19/17/26, cz's, etc.

My Elite-S is is one of two EDC's in my current rotation. Because of the mid-to-larger size of the gun, I carry when I am less physically active, and wearing larger button down shirts, zip up's, or soon to be cooler weather outer wear. It fits snug to my waist in the Clinger V3 Ultra Conceal OWB holster. My hand snaps quick and firm to the grip, and it's very comfortable to draw and re-holster.
I guess my mileage does indeed vary
