Also, it sure would be nice if they decided what the name actually was for both the Elite Combat and the Elite Combat Executive. At least in Century's descriptions, they quickly switch to calling them Combat Elite.
or the discerning shooter who insists upon high performance and consummate style, Canik introduces the TP9 Elite Combat Executive.

Based on the 2019 TP9 Elite Combat utilizing performance upgrades designed by Salient Arms International, the Executive features a distinctive gold barrel by Salient, fluted, match-grade, and PVD-over-nitride coated, and a black polymer frame topped with a nitride-coated jet black slide. The Executive is suppressor ready with 1/2 x 28 RH threads.

The TP9 Elite Combat Executive includes the new flat-face aluminum trigger with a black full-face safety. The optics-ready slide comes with an optics mounting plate and charging handle. A side-reversible, extended magazine release and additional backstrap for customizing the fit is included in addition to a new retention holster with Slide Lock Release.

The slide, barrel and small steel parts are nitride-coated while internal components are nitride or high-wear nickel-coated. The Salient collaboration includes the barrel and thread protector, an aluminum Speed Funnel magazine well, and sight set with fiber optic front sight. A 15-round magazine with a +3 extension for a total of 18-rounds is included.

The custom features on the TP9 Combat Elite designed by Salient Arms include:

• Proprietary Convex Thread Protector with 1/2x28" Right-Hand Threads

• Fluted and Gold PVD-Coated, Match-Grade Barrel

• Fiber Optic Sight Set

• Aluminum Speed Funnel Magazine Well

NEW custom Canik features on the TP9 Combat Elite include:

• Aluminum Plus 3 Magazine Extension

• Small Parts and Internal Components Nitride or High-Wear Nickel-Coated

• New Flat-Face Aluminum Trigger With 4.8lb trigger pull weight

• Slide, Barrel, and Small Steel Parts Nitride-Coated

• Optics-Ready Slide with one Adapter Plate that fits the popular Docter, Meopta, Insight, and Vortex optics (others available for purchase) and Charging Handle

• Extended Magazine Release

• New Retention Holster with Slide Lock Release

Well if the trigger is the same and they shoot the same then really whatever is lighter on the wallet.

My Elite-S is already pretty much perfect as far as reliability goes, so super slippery extra special magic coatings on the EC Exec might make it even more perfect?

Stupid loaded chamber indicator doesnt leave enough room for rmr mill plus rear sight dovetailing.

I will use chamber Indicator maybe once at my life. But co-witness need it in every shoot.

Looks like all our requirments will be in next Canik TP9 model and it will call Canik TP9 SDKSJHDKDFDOFDSFMDFDFDJFKF :-D

Same I suppose its probably a requirement for one of their military or law enforcment contracts but I don't know anyone who uses or relies on the indicator.

It also has American size 1/2 x 28 RH threads instead of 13.5 x 1mm LH.

I'll be adding one to my collection. They are doing a limited production run on these. For me, it'll be a range gun. I won't carry a handgun with a red dot unless I have iron sights to co-witness. I'm fine carrying my good ol' Walther with iron sights for now. As for the Sub Compact that's been speculated, I doubt we'll see it anytime soon. Usually you can tell when a new Canik will hit the market when the big name U Tubers start reviewing it. Haven't seen anything as of yet, so I'm not holding my breath.

For me it will either be the executive or the combat elected I add but not both. So it will boil down to best deal since besides color the function etc is the same just one is blinged out. Is Desert tan and a red dingus worth 100 bucks. Nope

Yep. Plus, for those with suppressors, you are looking at what, $50-$100 for another booster for the EC's odd thread pitch. I'm not a huge fan of the ECE's looks and much prefer the EC in tan but you're right, it's tough to justify the extra expenses.

Oh, did just catch this in the ECE description...
• Optics-Ready Slide with one Adapter Plate that fits the popular Docter, Meopta, Insight, and Vortex optics (others available for purchase) and Charging Handle
Looks like they may be cutting some costs there but this might matter to folks with other sights.

Here's a thread I created for adding the front sight to 1/3 co-witness off the optic body. When I originally did the mod I had the Vortex Venom on the gun. I ended up swapping the Vortex with a Trijicon. I had to cut the front sight down as the RMR sits lower than the Venom.

I sent my EC of to Galloway Precision awhile ago so they could copy the optic cut as well as the plates. Hoping they have plates available soon. I'm sure they would be cheaper than what Century will sell them for.
