(*) Buy a couple of boxes of 124 gr. WWB NATO to break in the stiff RSA. Cheap, and shoots great in the Canik! (*)

That seems really cheap if it's the actual MSRP. This is $70 under the MSRP of the Elite (on Century Arms' site).

I read somewhere else that price will be around $375, so for an MSRP that sounds about right. I think they are going to be aggressively priced to compete in the already saturated sub compact market.

Gallery of Guns had a placeholder for it at $429 msrp as well.

No hint of the SFX Mod 2 though.

I'll hold judgment until I can lay hands on it. But it's got my attention though.

I had it in my cart.... It was in stock, I was at work, I put in in my cart too busy to put all the information in. Thought I'd do it after work. By the time I got off.. GONE.. Next time I won't wait. I'll take a break and fill out the information.

Still skating around details about the slide cut. I have a feeling that a lot of buyers will be in for a surprise when they can only use Shield sights. The Shield sight made out of metal costs more than this gun.

https://www.centuryarms.com/tp9-elite-sc.html

It is interesting, though, that photos of the gun with an optic mounted do show what appears to be a thin mounting plate.

Sig Romeo Zero works as well, and is about half the price of the SHIELD. https://www.opticsplanet.com/sig-sauer- ... sight.html

Sub Model coming only compatible with SHIELD, no plates for other red dots. Or Good luck with CNC

Yeah, that's why Canik needs to clarify. If you don't think it comes with plates, what are those plates in the photos above? Does the Shield come with some sort of plate for mounting? There's definitely something there which is odd if the slide cut is milled directly for the Shield sights.

@Janik did you read that somewhere specifically about the SC or are you just judging by size. Or do they have the same mount pattern?

Also, what happened to the mag well?!?!  I doubt I'd keep in on the SC but it could quickly find a home on my SFX :-D
