My daughter is just chomping at the bit after seeing the latest of this thread. She has been toying with the Glock 19 and shoots it well but loves my SFx and just wishes it was smaller. I may get a father daughter pair when they hit the shelves

The Elite is about the same size as the G19 if she wants something similar in size.. Alot of good deals out there on the CZ P10C right now too under $400, once they're gone and the newer made in Kansas City ones are out there the prices will be going back up toward $500, its got quite a nice trigger as well.

We have been testing out the whole lot. And she really likes the smaller pistols. G 19 is still too big she thinks but doesn’t see the value of the smaller glocks since as she puts it..”trigger sucks and it looks just yuck”. The CZs she likes and also is shooting my Tristar T100 more and more ( which is nice cause it gets me more data on it for my write up) but it’s heavy for what she would consider a carry pistol for her. She also doesn’t want to wuss out with a 380.. so we wait patiently for the sub elite since she has 7 months before she turns 21 and can legally carry. No rush but lots of excitement.

G19/Elite she'd prefer skinny grip or shorter? The sub elite should be same thickness as the Elite just shorter so that may end up not suiting her either, something single stack might be more preferable.

You might take a look at the Glock 43x. Only thing I didn't like about mine was the scalloped trigger it comes with. It left my trigger finger stinging and sore. Easy enough to fix with a flat trigger from Johnny Glock for less than $30 shipped. Plus, this new trigger allows you to reduce the take up. As I have mine setup now, it has just a hint of take up, then a pretty defined wall then a nice break. I left a little take up since it's my carry gun now and I didn't want it right on the wall.

She may like the smaller grip, but a bigger gun in the elite size will be much easier to shoot. My performance center shield sucks to shoot compared to my Tp9da.

Finally got a video review of the Sub Elite! One thing I like, we finally get a good close-up view of the bundled pancake holster...

Take a look if you don't mind excessive hand gestures during your reviews!

(*) Buy a couple of boxes of 124 gr. WWB NATO to break in the stiff RSA. Cheap, and shoots great in the Canik! (*)

Nice! Hoping it's released soon. Someone from Century Arms eluded to it being released sometime later this year in our Facebook group. So, I'm hoping soon.

Nice, probably grab it eventually but the holster will stay in the case, I'm guessing it'll fit in a G26 rig.

I'm hoping that holster would be a bit more functional than the one bundled with my SFx. Looked a bit loose and rattly in the video, but I also spotted what looked like a tensioning screw...

Looks to be more useful then the blackhawk clone my SA came with or the other abomination the Elite came with. It'll be useful to those who don't yet have any concealable holsters but pretty sure it'll atleast fit a couple of my leather rigs and maybe even kydex glock or cz ones.

Guys this is just theory but for moment Canik will be quite busy with Sub Compact production for Turkish Secret Service. We hear this pistol replacment of Glock model for Turkish Secret Service. This is why it is not clear for USA market time.

Its not clear for U.S. market cause ones made in Turkey can't be imported into the U.S. they have to setup production in the U.S. if they want to sell it here.

Looks like my 2019 gun budget is going elsewhere. Pity, I would have bought a Sub Elite sight unseen.

I agree. Now to decide to just keep the T-100 as my carry and then spend it on the 1911 project or the IWI that’s been calling out to me

I don't see why it couldn't be made importable. Taurus, Bersa, and others import compact pistols. Add the Elite-S style safety to meet the external safety requirement. Should be good.

I believe the sub taurus are made in Fl. Not sure about the Bersa's the thunder's waltheresque design may give a loop hole like other old guns(makarov's etc)

IIRC, the Bersa Thunder 380 gets some bonus points because it's a metal frame. The compact BP9CC is a poly framed 9mm though, and it's still made in Argentina. My G2C, in a similar sized package, is still made in Brazil. PPS is made in Germany...

I think if Canik wanted to import this pistol, it could be done.

G2C is made in miami. P10S couldnt be imported from Czech Republic so had to setup shop in Kansas City, same reason why Glock opened facilities in GA to import their subcompacts. BP9CC isn't really a sub its a slim singlestack 9mm.
