Looks like some new offerings from Canik. A rep from Century sent me these photos from SHOT Show. Still waiting on full details.

Me too!!!
Almost looks like it's a milled slide for the optic. :-? ...I wonder what the slide cut looks like. That plate doesn't look like it's deep enough to accept the mounting screws for the optic. maybe everything is now recessed.

Slide release lever appears to be cut into the frame??? Maybe to help with the strong hand thumb up tight to the frame preventing the slide to lock back.

TP9 LC... ???????
I like the lightening cuts!
Black CAMO is nice too!!

Yah, looks like it's based on the SF model, and the plates are a lot slimmer. I'm curious too how they are secured. But I hope they don't move away from mounting plates and only cut them for Trijicon. It does look though that there's a thin plate. As for no rear iron, I'm sure these were in the works for awhile, so I'm not giving up hope yet that future offerings will have the rear iorn.

I still think it will take a slide redesign to incorporate a dovetail for a rear iron...just not enough real estate behind the chamber indicator!

There doing it somehow though. There are two Canik models now available overseas that have an RDO cut and rear irons. One of the models is a compact. Aside from the Canik METE that's been discussed, here's a pic of the newest with the RDO and rear irons. I believe it holds 12+1.

Let's hope it won't be RDO specific or limited. I can't imagine they would!

They should just delete the loaded chamber indicator I dont think anyone actually uses/relies on them.

I like that! If Canik could release that in the US, I would have my new EDC...

Black CAMO is nice too!!
Only if they do the whole gun. Glock did a few and it was gorgeous especially the AIr Fore blue Camo.

Just doing the slide is the lazy way out to me.

Looks heavy to me. Notice slide thickness at rear.

This is correct.

I think the "LC" stands for Lighter Checkbook. I haven't even shot my SAR 9 yet...and there are several others in the family that have been neglected.
