LOL, be nice if there was a "food stamp" program for ammo. Not as a limitation, but an ability to guarantee we have what we need monthly to feed our guns. :)

I’m sitting pretty good right now. Did an inventory count yesterday.

9mm - 4000 rounds
38 special- 900 rounds
380 - 325 rounds
32 - 225 rounds
22LR - 6500+ rounds
Miscellaneous other pistol rounds 200
7.62x39 about 1500 rounds

This is an amazing idea.

Consider that the hunger statistics in the US are based on the definition of "hunger" as if you missed ONE meal in a YEAR due to a lack of funds. But that hasn't produced enough to justify the spending, so they redefined it as "food insecure" if you THOUGHT that you might miss a meal in the last year. (In a country where 80% of the population is overweight or obese and the bottom quintile is even more on the obese side.)

So that means that instead of a food EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card, we should be getting an ammo EBT (Essential Bang Time) card if we even think that we will run out of ammo at any time. And if they complain that we have more guns and ammo than anyone, we can simply point out that we eat more food than anyone yet we still give it away.

Genius.

Thing is...like any "Welfare Program", people would abuse it and buy "new guns" and not provide the necessary and proper "nutrition" for the existing children (guns)!!!!

We're in pretty good shape!! :-BD

I think Dillon has a private sector program to help with that.

I lucked out - I was getting ready for another season of USPSA and already had quite a bit of stuff delivered right before this nonsense started.

Btw, did anyone else hear about the companies to recalled packages which were en route to be delivered? Apparently, some low life gouging companies who had already sold ammo and sent it out before the sudden sales spike actually had packages recalled so they could cancel the orders and sell the ammo at higher prices.

“Sorry there was a problem with your delivery but you have been refunded and you can re-order your ammo (at five times the cost)....”

I'm waiting for the "Cash for Clunkers" gun program. I have a low mileage KetTec to trade in for a new Canik Elite

Slowed down my shooting a bit since I was shooting about 1000 rounds through my caniks a month. Had 2000 rounds before all this shit now I’m looking at my other guns like ‘it’s your turn’ lol

Same here. I have several thousand ready for matches and almost that much for practice. Did have more practice ammo but have been shooting more since I have no comps within a couple hours drive.
