New member and purchased a SFX a few month ago. Been reading and learning from all the threads, which gave this extremely non mechanical guy the courage to install a Freedomsmith trigger and the Galloway reduced power spring kit tonight. And after an hour or two, great success! Can’t believe the difference and now wanting to do a few more mods.

13 or 14 lb Wolff spring
6.5 lb ghost spring

Then holosun 507C Green

And add some weight with brass back strap

But that could change as I learn more here.

The listed mods are what I have on my SFx with the exception of the 507Cv2, mine is the red.

I have exactly all those mods on my SFx. I would highly recommend them. The Holosun 507c-gr V2 is a fabulous resource.

As for springs, I am running a 15# spring with my W74 guide rod. Springs are cheap so get a variety of them to tune to any load you may decide to run. I have 12#, 13#, 15# and 17# springs for mine.
