New Canik Owner

Post by Evoker » Mon Apr 06, 2020 10:16 pm

Greetings. First time Canik owner here. I just picked up a TP9 Elite Combat Executive and took it to the range for the first time today, and I must say I'm very impressed! I can't wait to mount my red dot optic, however my pistol only came with optic plate #1 and I need #2 for my optic and they are currently on backorder. So if anyone knows where I might find one it would be very much appreciated.

Welcome to the madness from Alabama!

You might contact Century Arms for the plate.
What type of RDS are you mounting? Do you have any other mods planned for the pistol?

Thanks. And I'm from Utah. I have a Swamp Fox Kingslayer RDS that I want to use, it has the Trijicon footprint. I reached out to Century Arms and they told me they are in Turkey right now on backorder.
As far as mods go I just mounted an Olight Mini Valkyrie 2, and I plan to get a Can but need do the paperwork and wait, til then I would like to do something with the threaded barrel, any ideas?

Welcome aboard the forum

I have a Kingslayer also and, the 1X4 LPVO scope. Both great. Take look at them. Great mil discount too. I always wait for a sale and then they allow you to use both discounts.

Welcome to the forum!

Canik lists that the "Elite Combat" come with "adapter plates", plural, and the Executive come with "one adapter plate". I guess that's why the Executive has an MSRP $100 less the the Elite Combat. Stupid in my opinion!!!! Just supply all the plates and call it a day.

Welcome on forum. As far i know Canik factory still working for export and tenders. This is so strange why Excutive comes with 2 plates only. I have Elite Combat S comes with 5 plates.

Quick question, how easy it is to remove the mag well? I figure it is pretty easy but just want to double check.
