New member from the Front Range of Colorado

I bought a TP9 Elite SC a couple of months ago and have very much enjoyed shooting it, though I've only put a couple of hundred rounds through it. I bought it partially out of curiosity revolving around several great reviews of Caniks and the remarkably low price point. I sure haven't been disappointed! I did immediately replace the sights with Night Fision and will be putting a Holosight 507K atop as soon as they show up. My concealed pistol of choice is the Sig P365 - just about a perfect CCW piece, at least for me. However, during cooler weather months when one dresses a bit heavier, this Canik will probably be attached to my belt more often. I've had a Sig P320 Carry RX (with a few different grip modules) since they came out but have never found it to fit my hand as well as I'd like. I've also had a FNS FN9C and really loved that little gun. That FN was one great shooter but aging eyes, being what they are, had me always intending to put a red dot on it. I just didn't want to go through the cost and shipping of getting the side milled and then the additional cost of a red dot. Along came Canik and the rest is history. My FN did get traded for a Canik TP9 SFX as a birthday gift for my son.

He does indeed! He was looking at a used last November and has been drooling since then. The big problem is he outshoots me regularly - I keep using the older eyes excuse.

I know the feeling!!! My son has been making a name for himself down south. Shot in a match this past weekend that Chris Tilley hosted and beat in in CO on a couple stages. He recently was asked to shoot on a team sponsored by "The SIG Armorer". I use the same excuse!!!!
