New from Tennessee

Post by CanikClontz » Sat Jul 06, 2019 3:10 pm

Picked up my first Canik. I got a tp9sfx Friday. Took it to the range and absolutely love it, not counting all the stove pipes and double feeds :)). Going by all the post I've read, once broken in I'll be golden.

Welcome, and yes, it should be perfect after break in...mine was from box open, even with 115 gr.

Welcome to the forum. Yah, that damn RSA in the SFx is really stiff. I generally break in a new Canik with a couple boxes of Nato ammo. After a couple boxes of the hotter stuff, they will eat anything.

I'm sure you will get some good advice soon. I've read others with similar problems early and then solid performance after a box or two of 124 NATO...and as I hit "send", I see Janik came in just in time.

Yeah, I've read that canik will also send a weaker spring if you call them. And it also gets rid of the problem.
