I have been shooting the Canik TP9Sfx for over a year now. I run it completely stock, with a Vortex Venom on top. I love this gun! It's everything you would ever want as a startup race gun.

I shoot the monthly steel challenge when I'm able, and want to do more USPSA shoots.

I just found this forum because I was looking for aftermarket mods and upgrades for it. I did order a FreedomSmith trigger the other day, so I'm looking forward to that, but I'm looking for a decent holster that's doesn't cost that much. Also, I'm looking for an inexpensive red dot with a large window. The viewing window on the Vortex Venom is really just too small for me now. *sigh* my eyes got old.

Anyways, I love the gun, and I can't say enough about it. I look forward to reading everyones comments.

Welcome aboard!

Both Blade-Tech and Cook's make competition holsters with a base cost of ~$50. I have one of each and both work great. (Think 4th of July sale)

Welcome! Lexington is a beautiful area, I go up there often for work. Shot at the Bud's indoor range and number of times.

Nice to be here. @ncjw ...yes, Lexington is really nice. Not a fan of the humidity though (asthma). Buds is great! I go there a lot for testing my mods, upgrades, adjustments and cleaning. Mainly because it's really close to the house. Otherwise, I'm out at the Bluegrass Sportsman's League. Lots to do there, and that's where I get my steel shooting fix. :)
