New Member from Pennsylvania

Post by HeliarcLee » Tue Apr 30, 2019 10:41 am

Just registered after using this forum for information before finally ordering a Canik TP9DA in burnt bronze. Hopefully it will be here in a few days, so I can go experience these fantastic triggers. I will most likely have many more Caniks, have my eyes on an SF Elite and an SFx in the near future.

Already planning on purchasing an elite for the wife. She really likes the robin egg blue, it also helps they are fully ambidextrous with her being a lefty.

Welcome! I have the DA & the Elite - both great shooters with great triggers even without upgrades.
Enjoy, and run a bit of Nato through them to work in the RSA, especially that Elite!

Have fun,

Neil 8-)

I split 1000 rounds of FIOCCHI 115 gr with my friend for free shipping, so hopefully that will fire and eject without any issues. If not, I can always buy some NATO at the range to run through it.

Fiocchi and S&B both run a bit faster then other 115s and really all it take is one box of Walmart’s NATO special for 26ish bucks (150 rds) and it’s good to go.

OK...so I have to ask...why is it us "guys" always refer to "our wives", as "the wife"???
I think they would probably like "MY wife" better!!!

Because here we get to pretend we have a man card, and “the wife” and “the warden” are terms of manly endearment....you should all pay close attention to my words of wisdom...I am on my 3rd one ( I kid.... no woman in her right mind will date me🤔)

The "House Admiral" and I have been married 40 years, 11 months and 1 day; next time I'm renting. Ownership is highly overrated.

And I've noticed all "the wife's" have the same first name, "Dear". "Yes dear"....

Disclaimer: If my wife reads this, "I love you DEAR!"

Steelers fans. You guys are going to have a intriguing road this next year. Browns have become must see TV for at least 4-6 weeks to see if they live up to the hype, Baltimore is revamped and while not sexy, Jackson gives them a new dimension. I don’t think the Bengals are going to be relevant so it will be up to Tomilin to keep the ship on course with the gaps created. Very exciting to see how that division plays out this coming season.
