I try to buy when it goes on sale, never can have enough laying around, I try to keep at least 1000 rds 9mm, a couple hundred of 380, and 3-5K of 22 lr
Just scored about a thousand rounds of 22lr at an auction for $12.50 last week, a nice mix!

Picked up 1500 rounds of 9mm today. 115, 124 and 147 grain. Mixed manufacturers but all good quality stuff. Paid $250.00 for the lot. Got home and pulled out my existing stock. Sorted and counted, 3700 rounds. Have about 1200 rounds of 7.62 , about 700 rounds of other miscellaneous caliber. Weekend is supposed to be sunny and in the low 70’s. Think I’ll hit the range.

I just purchased 1000 rounds of 124gr Seller and Bellot for $147 online today. Sucks I had to pay for shipping though. But it's still much cheaper than what I can find locally. I don't stash a ton of ammo, but I've been buying a lot lately because I plan to really get into competition shooting. And it doesn't help all the rhetoric of gun control coming from the Left. So, I'm starting to buy whatever I can when I can, as I'm going to have to do a lot of practice shooting.

I like S&B ammo. Good quality and good accuracy.

Try www.ammoseek.com the site craws the web for ammo deals. I use it every time I buy online.

I scored some Blazer Brass 9mm with Federal's promotion over Christmas. That puts me over 1.5k FMJ. I need to start stacking up HST or XTP; I've only got about 15 rounds not already allocated between home/carry pistols.

What's a good price for 75-77gr 5.56? Once the IRS sends me my "gun money", it'll be time to build out the pistol, stash another couple of lowers and get some AR pistol food.

I typically carry 124gr HST, but man over the last couple months it's gone up about $10 or 11 in price. I used to get it for $18.99, and now it's around $30 a box. Speer Gold Dot did the same. I'm thinking it's because LE is going back to 9mm.

Tell me. That stuff is spensive. Like you I have what’s in my 2 carry guns. I need to get a couple of boxes so that I can run out what’s in my mags

Do,you ever look at Texas gun trader? I see spam cans of your ammo show up there. You can regionalize to your area. I’ve bought and sold many times using it. That’s where I found my ammo I bought yesterday.

Thank you for mentioning that. My next project is an AR pistol and I naturally thought that the heavier weight .223's would be best out of it, but was thinking that I would have to use up my target grade handloaded 77's or Sig 77's. Of course! Use the cheap 75's and 77's. What a maroon...

Anyway, TargetSports USA has Fed AE 75's for $9.50 minus a $1 rebate, with free shipping on 25 boxes.

Be Careful, it's a dangerous place... It's cost me a lot of moola.....
Honestly though... I've sold 5 guns, bought 3 and 2 ammo purchases through it.... Have met some really nice people as well....

I got it from this company. I'm not familiar with them, but ordered last night and got a shipping notification today, so no worries so far. https://www.trueshotgunclub.com/

I bought a Prime Membership at Target Sports so I'm buying exclusively from them until my membership expires next September. Good prices, free shipping.
I'm stocking up because I assume my home state will exercise the mandate for internet vendors to collect sales tax sometime in the near future. That will add 7% to my cost.
I also assume prices will go up as we approach the 2020 Presidential election. Vendors probably won't stock up like they did in 2016 because they took a serious financial loss when the buying panic didn't develop. If a Dem wins the panic buying will start with low supply sending prices through the roof.

I've noticed recently I've been paying tax on almost all online purchases, including Amazon. Seems like they all are taxing now. In regards to 2020, I know the Left wants to eliminate online ammo purchases, which would really suck. I can't get the kind of deals locally that i find online.

We already have some crazy state and local laws restricting amounts that can be bought in a month or requiring background checks for ammo purchases. If we get an actual blue wave nationally there will be significant costs added to shooting sports. We are living in the good old days right now.

Exactly. Though I live in a "free state" at the moment, on a national level the Left can make things difficult for everyone. Hoping and praying that doesn't happen, but I agree, we are in the "good days" right now. Buy it cheap, stack it deep. I'm not much of a hoarder, but I want to enjoy shooting sports, and pass that on to my daughter and grand children.

Have a project ongoing in Shop at home. Had ammunition stored everywhere. Enclosing an area that is at least lockable.

Thought it was a good time to inventory best I could as long as I was moving it. Haven’t done the Shotgun ammunition yet but I know I need to stock up.

Still counting! (16080 rounds) No smoking!
