Nice! I'm hoping to invest in some TF accessories for my SFx sometime soon. On a side note, I've recently been purchasing the Browning 124gr ammo that you have in the pic. How has it been shooting for you? I've no complaints so far. And, it's reasonably priced for 124gr brass cased ammo. Have you decided yet if you prefer a red dot over iron sights?

What are you running for a RSA?
I'm shooting my first match tomorrow with the W74 guide rod. It feels nicely balanced with the brass backstrap, so we'll see how it goes.

Please give us a range report after the match. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

Shot an indoor match this morning and remembered to bring the hat cam!
Good match, gun performed well!
Here's a video from the second stage. Decided to shoot from only two positions and take the longer shots...worked out, won the stage.

Image

Video plays the stage at full speed and then at 25% to see how the gun is tracking vertically. Looked pretty good to me, and didn't have any issues with the gun dipping from the added weight up front. The TF brass backstrap balances it out well. I think it's going to work out! I did order a 12 and 13# conventional Commander springs to compare to the variable power springs.

What video editor are you using?

I'm adding in the brass back-strap (waiting on delivery).

Adobe Premiere Elements. I really like it. You can get as fancy as you want, or keep it simple as I did in the above video. As you're editing, you can look at the footage frame by frame.

Looks like it's on sale for $69.99. I've upgraded a few times over the years. That's a good price for the full application. I think upgrades are around $49.

I was thinking about adding the Cerakoted Tungsten Brass Backstrap to my SFx Blackout, but I wasn't sure if it was allowed in USPSA Carry Optic division. How much weight does it add?

About 3.5 oz. but you have a long way to go before you are over the weight limit. I'm at 30 oz. With all my changes and an empty mag with the Freedomsmith +4 extension.
