San Antonio Canik Fantic Meet n Greet

Post by Bfgloki » Sat Apr 13, 2019 8:25 pm

Folks....JG and I were talking about meeting up this Monday 15 April at Nardis Gun Club Alamo Ranch to introduce the TP9's and let them play a little. He made a great suggestion about meeting for lunch before hand then heading over to the range. We would like to invite any other members of the community or wanna be's ( so if your a stalker and saving up for your first Canik come on down!) Feel free to message me here or PM and we can see what we have for numbers and formulate a good place to meet up to eat nearby.

Hey Folks, I know this is last minute, but if it's possible it'd be nice to put faces to names here. There are a number of lunch places from fast-food to $$$ in the Alamo Ranch shopping area, then a quick jaunt down to Nardis West. I was thinking maybe Red Robin for lunch... Let Bfgloki know.

Red Robin sounds pretty solid...carb up on those endless fries for the shenanigans at the range.

I actually do the Cobb salad w/Ranch dressing. I've been keto for almost 2 years and have really turned my health around. I'm T1 diabetic for the last 25 years. HbA1C is normal now and I'm at my BMI weight.

My lady friend does the keto...she digs it. I just adhere to the tried and true " Eat a cookie run 4 miles" ….I run a lot.....

Just got back from lunch and range with JG. Was great to connect names with faces and I enjoyed getting to meet the person behind the posts. Thanks for listening JG and for giving me some good info on the range of topics that were as broad as my first group lol.

It really was a great time. Wish I could have stayed longer, but when my shoulder says, "enough," I have to listen. Hopefully we can do it again before you head out.
