Fix powder spillage on Hornady LnL

Post by colonel00 » Tue Mar 17, 2020 11:19 am

Found this last night and just thought I'd share. On my LnL I would get a little spillage of powder when the press would index to the next station. Basically, it's the ball bearings on the underside of the plate as they snap into the next little detent. The fix is to disassemble and flip the plate over. Take a punch and lightly tap on the ball bearing until it recesses to where it just barely sticks out. If you go too far, just flip the plate and tap from the other side. Once reassembled, it's as smooth as butter.

If the shooter does not cherish his weapon and feel sensual pleasure in handling it, it is unlikely that he will ever make it perform as efficiently as it can.
