Up until they kinda went balls up, I would have recommended Freedom Munitions 147grFMJ. I have a closet full of their remans. Soft shooting and VERY accurate. Trouble is, their pricing now is more than what you can get factory new ammo for. I've talked with a few shooters who are using the Federal SynTech 150gr, and they swear by it. I'd go with that if you can find it reasonably priced.
I didn't know Freedom went out of business.... HAHAHA … couldn't happen to a shittier outfit with terrible customer service. Karma's a b*tch. Hope they enjoyed that extra $20 they screwed me over on. LMAOGF
Freedom is in bankruptcy but they are still in business. I don't know how they are staying alive as they aren't price competitive with wholesalers selling factory new ammo with free shipping, like Target Sports.

Well, I had a chance to use the new Federal Snytec 150gr load that I ordered and I like it. It has a few benefits, one being less felt recoil and no backsplash on the close metal targets. 200+ rounds with 0 malfunctions in my Canik TP9SFX.

If you check local gun ranges (assuming there are some nearby), some of them are apt to offer custom reload options. At one of the ranges near me, they will load most calibers to whatever specs you want so long as the load data you give them isn't unsafe. You may have to buy in bulk (500-1000 rounds) but they will often have good prices and help you sort out getting a load to just the right power factor.

Extreme Reloading 147gr comp loads are reliable and affordable and sit right at about 130pf. My discount code will get you 10% off for life to save a little and give em a try.

Blazer brass 115gr was 134-135pf at 95° out of my SFx.

Aguila 115gr was 133pf at same temp out of the same pistol.

With the Sfx’s extra barrel length, the problem is usually finding a factory load that is 130-133pf instead of 138-144pf

I will have to get another box of it to make sure but I think PMC Bronze 124gr was right around 130-132pf.

hey LT, the load I was talking about from Atlanta Arms was the 147 they make for glock shooting sports, you may have to call and talk to the boss on that one 1-770-464-2203.

That's very interesting about PMC. When I first started shooting USPSA, that was the ammo I was using because it was the cheapest. When I chronographed it, the results were the most consistent of any ammo I have tried or used BY FAR. I was able to get it for around $150/1000.

A buddy just got a complete set up for reloading so we are trying to work up a good load (he has an SFx as well). We are basically going to replicate the load that Nils uses.

I shot the federal 500 round bulk bucket from academy sports. It’s 102 out the door I believe. It chronoed 1150-1200 out of my sfx. That should be plenty for pf.

What's the bullet weight? Those numbers with a 145/147g bullet would put the PF up around 167. You'd be making MAJOR power factor!
