Somebody is buying it; they are down to 13 cases. July of last year I bought the same SB9A from Outdoor Limited and paid $7.99 a box or $159 a case. I'm just holding on to what I have, limiting trips to the range and waiting for this craziness to stop.

(*) Buy a couple of boxes of 124 gr. WWB NATO to break in the stiff RSA. Cheap, and shoots great in the Canik! (*)

I picked up 2lbs. of Sport Pistol powder today off the shelf at my favorite reloading store. No hazmat fees!

I ordered 2000 coated 145gr bullets and will pick them up in 2-4 weeks. Pick up is direct from the manufacturer.

Primers? Don't even ask. Hen's teeth.

you just have to check often.

Last week i got 400 rounds of 556 for not bad, and all 40 boxes were gone by that night.

9mm ammo was 14 cents a round last year on Ammoseek. 48 cents now & that's steel case 1,000 rounds. And, now that everyone has a 5 year supply of toilet paper nobody's buying it. Shelves are full everywhere. Maybe the same thing will happen with ammo. Nobody with 5,000 rounds is going to pay $50 for one more box. Maybe.

Ah yes, but there weren't 15M new butt owners for the TP shortage.

There are a lot of new gun owners for the ammo shortage.

It's nauseating that I am paying double for the ammo I have been ordering of late (9mm 124gr/147gr), but .....I have to keep shooting, and often. I don't want the range stockpile to get below a certain number in the safe, so keep replenishing as I go.
I can only shoot so much of the guns/caliber/ammo that I don't use for personal & home defense, so the 9mm keeps draining the bank.

That said, last night was shooting our 1911 and father-in-law's Ruger GP100 for a enjoyable change of pace.

Agree, I’m sitting on about 4500 right now and there is no way I’m going to pay .50c per round. I’ve got enough other calibers as well. Hopefully enough to wait out the crazy.

On Friday I traded some old woodworking equipment I had for a Glock and 800 rounds of 9mm. I was more excited to get the ammunition than I was the gun.

Cheaper Than Dirt sent me an email for 9mm, 200 rounds 115 gr at $189.00. I am so glad I handload. I could not afford to shoot at today's prices.

I stopped buying from CTD over this kind of garbage back during the 2009 shortages. I actually returned their catalog and told them to never mail me again. Told them they would never get my business again, and why.

I don't get their catalogs, I get their emails. So I unsubscribed to it. I don't cotton strong arming.

If you must buy ammo, 40 is a good bit cheaper than 9mm now. I only have one 40, but I'm glad I do!

I haven't even seen a 9mm at Target Sports USA at any price for weeks and Ammoseek is showing $600/case for steel.

This is the worst that I have ever seen.

Ridiculous.
