It's a good looking little pistol. I don't know much about them though.

I'm a fan of Sarsilmaz firearms, but it seems they are a little late to the game. Thankfully Canik put the rail and red dot cut with co-witness on the SC. Unfortunately I don't see this sub compact offering anything over what the dozens of other sub compacts offer. I hope they do well though. Maybe down the road they'll release an updated model with a red dot cut.

everyone wants to get in on the 10+ round sc market, looks like a nice little gun but like you said no optic cut or rail makes it a hard pass for me. I like to atleast have a light on my carry gun.

Hmmmm....
Doesn't mention the height. What I notice is the finger grooves... Looks like it would allow a full three-finger grip, which implies it could be a bit tall for a 12-round SC. Some might like that, not me though. Grip length is the hardest to conceal. I carry my G2C and Elite SC with flush baseplates to minimize height.

Contrary to what others have said... I do like the omission of the accessory rail. That's actually a selling point to me.

I like the ergonomics of the full sized SAR9 but would likely pass on this SC.

(*) Buy a couple of boxes of 124 gr. WWB NATO to break in the stiff RSA. Cheap, and shoots great in the Canik! (*)

It has some interesting features but as mentioned above. A little late to the party.

I like all my Sars...I know zeda is not a fan, but I've not had any issues with mine...they seem solid and I don't think I paid more than $325 for any of them...I think a couple were below $250, which is why I doubled up on models. I am saturated in the subcompact area (don't need many in my opinion), so I probably won't be buying this model.

It looks really sharp but I don't need one for looks. I expect the price point will be catchy?

Looks like an M&P Shield 9 with a Glock slide. Size, capacity, and tritium sights sound good. Price point will give it some life considering the $500+ prices of the established competition.

I have no experience with Sar's striker fired hand guns, but my K2P has been flawless for thousands of rounds.

Mount and rail would have raised my interest too. I do like the looks of the grip ergo, and appreciate the sights offered. Is there a slide lock lever on the right side? (lefty question).
I still remember how close I was to getting the SAR-9 until I studied up on the Elite.

I do still like my SAR9. Many describe it as a Glock 17 crossed with a VP9. Actually bought a second one when they were really cheap. They are a pretty nice gun but the trigger isn't really great and there isn't really a SAR9 following so accessories are just about nonexistent. This one looks nice but I think price will be the main deciding factor for me. Basically I see a Glock 26 or 43 depending on the slide width with what looks like a better grip.

One real negative on the SAR9 is finding replacement sights. It looks like this one might have dovetail sights for the front and back so you could possibly find compatible sights but there might need to be a bit of fitting.

I'm still looking for them. I added a spring kit and a new trigger but the sights have to go.

There's one SAR9 mod thread out there in the interwebs where a guy talks about it. If I recall, I believe the front sight is just a standard Glock but the rear had to be fitted. I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is:
I should mention, the rear sight on there is a Dawson Novak sight I fitted with a triangle needle file. The factory rear sight was a bear to get off, they use some epoxy in addition to a set screw at the factory. Dawson FO glock front sight has been ordered.

I sent an e-mail to SAR USA about replacement sights and here's the reply I received.

"Good morning,
We at SAR USA appreciate your inquiry.
Performance replacement sights are on the way.
Please follow SAR USA on Facebook for updates.

Have a Great day,
