Quick Bio:
I've been shooting since 1983 (math isn't my strength but I think that's almost 40 years). I've owned dozens of handguns over the years; 1911's, Smith & Wesson DA/SA autos, S&W revolvers, Colt revolvers, S&W M&Ps, SIGs, Rugers, ad infinitum. A LOT of handguns.
I'm retired now and the ol' budget ain't what it used to be but, of course, you can never own too many guns and the Canik TP9SF had interested me for a few years and about a year-and-a-half ago, I decided to bite on it.
Absolutely no disappointments whatsoever.
In fact, it's even better than I thought it would be. Fit and finish are outstanding, the design and manufacturing quality are perfect. The thing just plain works and it's built strong and should last lifetimes. And, of course, the price was a determining factor as well and nothing on the market can touch it.
I have no complaints whatsoever. I did have a hard time finding an extra factory magazine due to the pandemic but finally they became available again and I snatched one up. It's my primary bed gun because I know it's going to work and an 18-round magazine helps me sleep better.
Anyway, nice to be aboard here. Those of us who are experienced shooters can really appreciate the Canik TP9SF as being a top performer and the newbies out there who are just getting into firearms and end up with a Canik are lucky to have come into guns at a time when there are so many great choices at reasonable prices.
