Dear all,

I have a Canik Rival and I would like to lighten the trigger pull to better match my 3 year old Shadow 2.

I have read that both Glock as Walther kits are usuable, but in EU there is limited access.
Which springs would be best suited and are there any brands I have to look out for. Do I need a Gen 4 or Gen 5 pack?

So far I have gathered that I need these springs:
Firing pin safety plunger spring
Firing pin spring
Trigger return spring

Thanks,
Rick

Edit to add details:

The Glock plunger spring and Glock striker spring are not generation-specific. But the Canik might need a striker (firing pin) spring stronger than the stock Glock spring (5.5 pound), depending on the primers you are trying to ignite.

Thanks for the additional info, I saw kits for both Gen's so this helps. It seems the Walther striker spring is 6.5 lbs (29 N) so I will stick with Walther for this spring:)

Hi Rick,

please can you tell me which springs (Glock / Walther) you used and how did they work.
I got the same problem. There are tons of spring kits in the US but nobody will ship overseas... :-(

If someone knows part numbers of the spring I can use, I would be very happy.

Thanks.
