Haven't got to see on e in person yet but the pics make it look really nice. I've owned a couple different hi powers, FN and Browning imports from Israel still have one of them great gun, had considered getting it refinished but perhaps I'll get the Springfield so I have one that looks nice.

Haven't really looked at them too hard. Did watch a video from Brandon Herrera earlier where he was poking fun at them a little. I guess you can get an EAA clone or even just an old Hi Power for cheaper than what these are going to go for.

It doesn't excite me too much. I have a Springfield 1911 Range Officer so that hole in my safe is already filled. Plus, with my eyes, I'm pretty much set on it needs to be optic-ready to go onto the wish list.

EAA is Girsan and not to excited about their fit and finish. I haven't seen any nice l ooking ones for under 700, now I paid like 3xx for my Israeli surplus but that was several years ago and again they show their use. I had been planning on getting a Tisa's then covid came and they dried up, I'm only seeing 1911's now. I'm still unsure who SA is getting these from I've heard both Tisa's and FEG. I'm not excited by the prospect of paying more for either cause SA stamped their logo on it but choices are limited.

I don't have anything hammer fired, but I've been thinking of getting something. Don't think it would be an SA35, though. I'll probably get my 1911 itch scratched first.

I've got a bunch of hammer fired stuff, CZ75's would be my preferred ones, if I could only keep one of my hammer guns it would be one of my Shadows. Have a couple 1911's they're alright, but vary so widely depending on what manufacturer and model, generally capacity and size kinda turn me off on them though recently shot a couple 2011's I rather enjoyed.

I've kinda changed course, I'm waiting for my local shop to get one of the Girsan Ops in so I can handle one.
