Last month I bought 1,000 rounds of Federal Syntec 150 gr 9mm for $.46/round (all in, shipping, insurance, etc).
My target price was $.50 or less/round and this was the first time I'd seen it below that thresh hold so took the plunge.
I lose track of time, but at some point in the past (12 months? 18 months?) it was over $1.00/round if you could even find it!

I have noticed that ammo prices are starting edge up again.

I wonder if this is the reason:

What the Great Ammunition Shortage Says About Inflation
Concentration is increasing prices and keeping them high. The ammunition duopoly and the "Great Ammunition Shortage" is just one example.

Picked up 850 rounds of 22lr for $60 a couple weeks ago. Was suprised at the selection and price. It was from one of the big box stores we all love to hate.

Same here... I've seen the Federal Automatch most frequently... About $21/325. Last week, found a box of Remington Golden 525 bulk for $40, first I've seen of that in ages.
