Hello everyone,
Matt here, just purchased a Tp9sfx and due to living in Maryland I now have to wait 7 days before I can pick up this beauty.... but that’s ok it gives me time to order parts that I want but do not necessarily need. I like to play around with my firearms a little bit just tweaking things to make them just right.
I have ordered a freedom smith trigger
A ghost reduced power plunger spring
A ghost 6.5 lb firing pin spring
—-I’m pretty new to firearms just got my first shotgun Stoeger m300 in November , and a browning buckmark target in January. Got the buckmark feeling lovely.

*** would love some suggestions for guide rod and spring from anyone that could help. If you could get links to order that would be a huge bonus.

I got my recoil spring guide and springs from this company:

https://www.ndzperformance.com/NDZ-Gloc ... ro-g17.htm

What I like about this rod is that it captures the spring, but is easy to change springs when you want to. I'm running a 13 lb flat-wire spring on my SFx, but I'm shooting light loads (130 power factor) for USPSA Carry Optic class. There will be other suggestions as well. Good luck and have fun!!

The combo of W74 tungsten guide rod and Wolff Colt Commander length recoil springs is hard to beat. You have the most adjustment that you can get with that combo.

Still waiting on the trigger but soon as I get it it’s going on. Did the plunger spring and polished the plunger, still have to do the firing pin spring. Any suggestion on the trigger spring?? Replace it? With what? Or do the split ring addition? Also would someone please send a link for 14# commander recoil spring

I use these springs from ISMI...These are flat springs, and I like them very much, but you can also get traditional round-wire springs (Wolff) from there as well. I'd suggest you get a few different weights so you can optimize for your particular load. Look for ejection to go about 3-5 feet and you should be about right.

Best of luck to ya, and keep us informed!
