Re: Just ordered my first Canik.

Welcome to the club......I have 2 of the DA models and they are fine shooters. Honestly I don't believe you need to worry about changing anything until you shoot a few hundred rounds through it. I have not modified my DA's in any way. Also I don't believe you will need any snap caps of plastic bulle...

Re: Anyone tried CZ or Taurus mags in a Canik?

I bought a 14 round CZ 75 mag and it fits and locks up in my C-100. Its a flush fit. The mag bottom pokes out a little from bottom of grip, but a little grinding/filing will remedy that.
Greg Cote has those mags.

Re: Hello From Atlanta GA

Welcome from Mobile........I have the C-100 and it is a fine shooter. I did change out the main spring (hammer) on mine. I believe? it comes with a 17 or 18# spring, and I believe the new one was 13#? I am going on memory and it can be off a little. But, bottom line here - the original trigger pull ...

Re: New to the forum and new to Canik.

Welcome....thought I posted already- guess i hit the wrong button? Anyway.....target looks good to me. You may want to try a few shots from bench rest and see if the POI moves more near the center. If that clears it up- then just adjust your grip a tad. Try a little more finger on the trigger if rig...

Re: New P-120 Owner and P-100 Purchaser -GA

Welcome to the club from Mobile.... What part of Bama did you come from? I have the C-100 and think its a fine gun. Similar to the "P" series- except with an aluminum frame. I did change out the main spring (hammer) on mine. I don't remember the trigger pull weight numbers- but the lighter spring ma...

Yeah- there is a serious rush out there right now to buy guns, ammo and accessories. Give it a few months, things will get better.

As soon as I get a chance to go into town- I'll try to find one so I can get a feel for it. But I think I want to get this gun.
We will see....just let things settle down a bit.

Re: Any Glocksters out there have the G 43X?

Yeah, good luck finding one right now. Then again, I'd sell you mine for $1200 :D Bass Pro Shop has one for $449.99 should I decide to jump. (might not be there long though?) I haven't received my stimulus yet......it is supposed to land in my bank in "late April". Well.....we are getting close to ...

Thanks Colonel00...........have you put that 43X on the scales loaded? wonder what the weight would be.

I just may have to get that gun. Might have to pull a couple guns out of the locker and sell them.

Re: Any Glocksters out there have the G 43X?

Yeah- I first considered the SC right away...since I really like the Elite. BUT- it still has the weight of a larger gun, and a chopped off grip- too short for the barrel and weight. Would not work. NOW- that 15 round mag for the 43x IS a game changer- especially if it doesn't extend out beyond the ...

Any Glocksters out there have the G 43X?

Been searching for a new EDC. My full size guns are just too big for comfortable every day summer time carry and the sub compacts and just not big enough to make me feel safe enough should a real situation develop. I have only seen this gun online, but the G43X is slightly smaller than the G19, but ...

Agatha spent part of her stimulus check...(still waiting on mine)

Neighbor across the street came to show us a new gun a few days ago- A Henry 22 with TRUMP 2020 in the serial number. Agatha was so impressed that she wanted me to get one. I told her I didn't have the money and did not want to go into debt to buy it. So she asked #1 son- and got the same response f...
