Re: Has the hoarding slowed down?

Wife hit up Wal Mart yesterday afternoon, got ground beef, taco shells, bread products, Mac and cheese, produce. Altogether, a pretty decent food haul. Still not so much with the TP though.

Re: 3 Gun Choice To Survive The Apocalypse

Someone give me an idea of recoil... I have several regular .22LR but they are so anemic that I don't really bother with them much.. Sometimes I want something to plink with that is more than 22 but a lot less than 9mm..... One a scale of 1 to 10, with 22LR being 1 and 9mm being a 10, where would y...

Re: Stimulus Check - What are you buying?

That entirely depends on the status of my employment. My company hasn't been in good financial state for a while, and it's even worse now. Some locations are closed, with most employees working from home. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't recover from this one. I would like to get a new handgun (Sub...

Re: Handgun "trigger reach" Canik vs Taurus

Hoping to remediate this issue: I discovered that the Hogue Beavertail grip sleeve for the Shield 45 is the same model recommended for the G2C. Realizing I had the same sleeve in my cabinet, I installed that on my G2C. Unfortunately, the beavertail grip only adds about 3mm to the overall reach. It d...

Handgun "trigger reach" Canik vs Taurus

Ramblings on a slow work-from-home day: This concept of what appears to be called "trigger reach" isn't something I've really give much thought to until now. If that's not the correct wording, someone let me know. I'm talking about the distance from the trigger, to the closest point on the backstrap...

Re: Anyone in Quarantine or Shelter At Home?

No stay at home order here, but this is my first workday to work from home. Although, my company is classified as critical infrastructure (petroleum product storage/distribution/transportation), so trips to the office are still likely. Kind of nice, as I'm not working in a cave and can actually tell...

Re: How is everyone’s job status

Working for the IT department of a midstream company. As of this week, will be working from home. Unfortunately, my company wasn't been doing well financially BEFORE the oil price dropped and COVID hit, so not sure what to expect from this.

Re: CTD Price Gouging Ammo Again

I boycotted CTD back in 2009/2010, when they started doing garbage like this. At that time, they were charging $75 for a box of .380 Blazer Aluminum. I'm never doing business with them. I wrote 'return to sender' on their catalogs, wrote them, told them to take me off their mailing list, and why I w...

Re: Who has the best?

I wouldn't call it fast food, but I really like the fries at Denny's. I don't eat a lot of fast food, but my go-to joint is Whataburger. Their fries are good if you get them fresh. Other place I eat is a local place, and I go for the tots there instead. If I can find a local place that has true fres...

Re: TP9SFX issues persist... send back to Century?

Again, mine did the exact same thing, until I broke mine in with a couple of boxes of 124 gr. NATO. <shrug>

Maybe adding the optic to the slide changed the mass JUST enough to make the problem return?

Re: Trying to find the right open carry holster for my new canik tp9sf elite has been a pain.

Safailand 578 GLS. Comfortable, fits a wide range of guns, retention is nice and instinctive, multiple mount options, and fits the Canik TP9 series perfectly.
