Re: Sig p365 SAS

Yes, the sight has been out for a little while now. I’ve been keeping an eye out to see if they go on sale. Probably not anytime soon now that sig is mounting them. I like the recess look though, do you think it’s possible to drop it in a Canik slide? The aftermarket version on Amazon has decidedly...

Re: Marlin Model 60 modified

One of my first guns was a Model 60. What a great rifle and mine was very accurate. It was a classic design and should have never sold it.

The mod above is, um, unique? Good luck with that...

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/oct/7/ed-stack-dicks-sporting-goods-ceo-says-company-des/ For taking $5M worth of guns out of their stores (and not saving a single life as I have never heard of any of the mass shooters using AR's ever buying one at Dicks), they lost $250M (that they are wi...

Re: Shot my first 1911, and was amazed!

Welcome to the club!

A Kimber 1911 was my only handgun for decades. Due to its design they won't get to Canik-like value per gun and the ammo is maybe 50% more, so it is a bit more expensive of a hobby, but well worth it.

Re: 80% AR Lowers

My buddy only did aluminum AR lowers.

Agreed, once I reach retirement I might tempted to build some just to build things.

That was one of the surprises of reloading. It was very satisfying to make things with your own hands.

Re: Someone is Stealing the Wheels Off Cop Cars

Time to get meta:

So a guy is talking to his girlfriend and explains that he has a friend in the hospital, so he sent him a list of ten puns to try and cheer him up.

She asked: "Did they work? Was he cheered up by any of them?"

He replied: "No pun in ten did."

Re: 80% AR Lowers

A friend who does this says that it isn't too hard, he did the first one with some guidance from a friend but was able to easily do his own after that. His only goal was to be unlisted, and he said that the completed AR was only a little more expensive than OEM but the Glock was a lot more expensive...

Re: Springfield Armory Hellcat

Also, if I found myself in an active shooter situation with someone that had a rifle or really any gun, having the increased potential accuracy of an RDS for a longer shot might just come in handy. If you have to engage a rifle shooter at a long distance for a pistol, your technique at "bullseye" s...

Thanks! I was looking at the Shepard hooks as the cheapest method of hanging plates but was very worried about our NC red clay.

Are those 6"? Will they hold 8"?
