Re: Aftermarket barrels for the TP9v2/DA

They were listed as a Canik parts Kit . I had no idea it was a V2 and the auction did not state any details on which version it was. It never hurts to have a few spare parts and at $95 for everything but the frame .

Re: Compatibility on a Canik?

No the trigger pull felt lighter on the V2. It had more wear than my SA ,which almost new.
The V2 racked the slide smoother and just felt better than my SA did on the same frame.

Re: Aftermarket barrels for the TP9v2/DA

No barrel related, but this afternoon I did shoot a V2 9mm on a TP9SA frame and everything fit and functioned fine for 118rounds.
I picked up the V2 parts on gunbroker.

Re: Compatibility on a Canik?

Fired the V2 this afternoon on the SA frame and it functioned fine for several mags. I did have a magazine issue due to a weak spring in a Canik mag I purchased from a pawnshop. I did notice a huge difference in POI USING 124 gr PPU and ZQI versus 115gr Winchester white box. 124 was dead on and the ...

Re: For the TP40v2 owners out there, spare magazines may be possible

Where would be a good place to locate a TP40v2 ? I just tried a Sig 226 .40 LE mag that I picked up from CDNN awhile back for dirt cheap in my SA 9mm and it looked just like The factory TP9 mag sans the baseplates and the catch area would need opened up some. It seems it would need opened up just a ...

Re: Compatibility on a Canik?

Thanks guys ,that is pretty much what I thought. I wanted to ask ,I picked up the parts on gunbroker not knowing what version of Canik it was,but for the price , I thought it would be good to have as some if not all of the parts would fit the SA or the Sf elite I have.

Re: 3D Printed Magwell

Planning on ordering a few of the open bullistics mag sleeves for my elite,I may try to mod one for the Walther.
Walther mags are $33 ea compared to around $20 for Caniks. I could share mags with the Elite,SA and the Walther.

Re: Century arms mag quality issue?!

I do know that Walther uses a heavier spring in the +2 mags that they source from Mecgar. I got this from an email with Tech support. I was looking to buy the+2 extension parts and I was informed about the longer spring. The prices for the+2 extension, the retainer and the longer spring added up to t...

Re: Canik 55 TP9 titanium range report!!

How well do you like the Gen1 Canik ?
I did not get 1 when they were blowing them out dirt cheap. They seemed like a great value.
I hid get a TP9SA for $299+FFL fees/ shipping and a few days ago picked up a used TP9sf elite for $260 out the door.
