Re: Using Magnum Primers In Non-Magnum Loads

If you can find Federal small rifle primers they are said to have a softer cup than some other brands.

Re: Using Magnum Primers In Non-Magnum Loads

I've heard from a few people that they use small rifle primers when they run out of pistol primers. I never have tried them, I might try some light loads with some and see if there are any signs of pressure.

Re: Jacketed Bullets

I use Berrys 124 gr. round nose, with 3.7 grains of Titegroup. It works well in all my nines, even my P80's that don't like most 115 gr. factory ammo. 124 Nato or these reloads for them.

Re: Ammo availability

Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore sent an e-mail this morning saying they had 500 rd. boxes of Winchester white box. 259.00, there must be some desperate people out there because it is out of stock. I bought the same thing from Bass Pro a couple of months ago for 99.00 shipped, I felt like I was paying ...

XDm10mm, also bought a thousand rd.s of S&B 180 grain from Midway before the panic. Got the birthday deal too, 279.00. Probably won't see a price like that for awhile, if ever. Just finished reloading some.

Re: Need some Glock help

I've built four P80's a 19 long slide, a 17, and two 34's. I never owned a real Glock, just did'nt care for the feel and angle of the grip. Took me about an hour to do my first frame, the last one less than half an hour. The beauty of the P80's is you don't pay full price for stock Glock then spend ...

Re: Who carries a Canik

That number 25 fits my M&P 9, Sigma 40. Glock P80 clones and M&P 45 also fit with the rail spring removed, does'nt hurt the retention. If you are running a light on your guns check out the Blackhawk Omnivore, they fit over 100 different makes.

Re: Federal Ammo vs Fiocchi

I use alot of Fiocchi in my .40 S$W's, also my 300 Blackout that I shoot supers in love it. It was the only ammo that would cycle when using P Mags. Switched to Lancer mags now it shoots anything. Got a deal awhile back on 124 gr. Fiocchi all my nines love it. Shoots in my P80 clones, nothing in 115...

Re: Who Owns a JEEP???

For years in Northern Arizona they used black volcanic cinders on the roads in the winter. About the size of pea gravel, it was non corrosive but hell on windshields. Now in the last few years they use a orange colored ice melt they claim will not hurt your vehicle. Don't see many rusted out wheelwe...

Re: Who Owns a JEEP???

I've got two Jeep Comanche pickups, one longbed and a short bed. Both have the 4.0 inline six cyclinder, great engines. The short bed has almost 300,000 miles, only major repair was a clutch, still purrs like a new one.

Re: Stainless Steel Guide Rods

I just finished a Polymer 80 G19 long slide from Brownells. I got a oem guide rod from Ebay, I don't know what the spring rate is standard. Seems pretty stiff when you rack the slide. Seems to cycle well though, snowing here today so did'nt get out to shoot it.
