I will be buying some reloading equipment if primers ever become available.

You can buy them here. https://grabagun.com/century-arms-arms-19.html
Just look for mags for TP9 series. They make sure it is for the TP9SFx. You might be able to beat the price with some searching.
Do a search for Mags for Canik TP9 pistol.

Hi pkbud74,
Welcome to the forum.
If you come across some 18 round mags you can buy mag exxtensions from Taylor Freelance. I know they have a four round extension. They may have a two round extension. They are a sponsor and you can click on their Ad at the top of the Forum page.

Some things I see. There is WAY too much space alocated to the member information at the right side of a post. There is a post from LT with eight words in the post and it takes up 5 1/2" of vertical space. I really miss the "New Post" link at the top of the page. If you are worried ab...
Hi FiveDigit,
Your comment about a good warranty is right on target. It is amazing red dots last as long as they do.

Hi rjo946,
Welcome to the forum. You made a good choice with the TP9SFx.

Hi Ben W,
Good, I was concerned that you had gotten a Viper in a package deal. The Viper is not a good choice. I have a Vortex Venom and a Holosun. The Holoson comes on when the gun is picked up. Good feature. I like my Venom a lot but for some reason in short supply.

Hi Ben W.,
I would not shoot a .32 cartridge in a .30 barrel. You have a 30 carbine gun and I would shoot 30 carbine ammo in it.
Frank
Hi Ben W.,
Was the failed red dot the Vortex Viper that came on your FX as a package?

It is interesting that some think the shortage is do to panic buying due to the pandemic. I think it is panic buying due to the unrest in our major democratic controlled large cites and the fear that police departments may reduce numbers in some cities.

Those of you who are fans of Canik’s Tristar line of pistols have probably noticed that nearly every model is sold out of every gun shop and online gun store. I did find that impactguns.com is taking backorders on a few models. I also found that the C100 tungsten gray models are currently in stock ...
The Vortex sight on the Canik PT9 SFx pistol is the Viper sight. Not the preferred choice. I would not buy the Viper. It has a poor reliability history. You will have a better package by buying the SFx and a Vortex Venom separately, if you want a Vortex. There are other very good red dots you could ...
I've decided to go for the SFX, but of course my LGS doesn't have one, can't find one and can't order one. I may end up with an auction deal which will cost me, but at least I'll be able to get one this year. Hi wbw, Grab-A-Gun has the Black Out version for $529. You won't have any problems with th...
Grab-A-Gun sells it for $399.99 to $419.99 depending which one you buy. They don't have any in stock right now. If you can find one I would buy it.

Hi Xcane,
If you can't see a red dot is it because of the color or something else? If it is color, have you tried a green dot?
Frank
Maybe they will stop using the Vortex Viper on their SFX package deals. That would be a good thing.
I wonder if our friend from Turkey (zeda3000) has any information.

Hi Racerxxx77, With the SF you will need a dovetail mount to use a red dot sight. You might be able to find one tapped for a slide tracker. Or you could drill and tap a hole in the mount for the slide tracker. You would need a sight base for a Glock dovetail cut. I put in a link for the Strike Indus...
Hi Colonel100,
Alaska rivers look a lot a like but that looks like the Delta River. Maybe the Tanana.

Hi tnez13,
My first Canik was a SF Series One. I have shot about 5000 rounds and not one jam or problem of any type. I mean absolutely no problems from the first mag to the last. You will like that gun.
