Re: Team Canik Fanatik Needs a MASCOT!

I think there would be a bunch of ribbing about your gun being a Turkey.

Re: Tp9 SFX

Hi inletguy, I have a TP9 SF. Don't know if the grip inserts are the same on the SFx but I assume they are. I have two grip inserts, a 1 and a 2. The two is slightly flatter than the 1. I have small hands and like the number 1 the best with the more rounded back. The best way to tell which is best i...

Re: Who Owns a JEEP???

I had a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser that I bought new in Texas. A great Jeep that I had for 5 years. Not one problem except the rear main bearing leak oil. Seemed to be a problem with the Toyota straight six from 1970.

Re: Need everyones input

Yes, I use it fairly often. When I have responded to a question and some time has passed, I go to MINE to look back at the thread. An example is when Canik was asking about Big Sights and I responded. A couple of weeks later I remember his question and went to MINE to see if he had bought the sights...

Re: Need everyones input

Please don't drop the "New" and "Mine". I use the new button 6-8 times a day. I also use the mine button often to follow up on my post. Why would you take steps backwards by deleting these buttons. What you need to do is make them known and how to use them, then everyone would be using them. Every t...

Re: Republicans Pushing National Red Flag Bill

Interesting that one Republican, one Democrat and one independent are sponsoring the bill but it ends up being “Republicans pushing the bill.” No political bias here.

Re: Trigger Upgrade Poll

I voted no but I did have a Fat Daddy for a while. The safety lever broke and it took a while to get a replacement. I intend to put the Fat Daddy back in for one more try. I liked the trigger but was getting trigger bite with the Fat Daddy trigger installed. I don't have any problem with the Canik t...

Re: Back Strap Option.

I think that the back strap you use has a lot to do with the size of your hand and maybe your grip. I have small hands and use the smallest back strap. I shoot with a fella with big hands and he thinks my back strap is too small. He uses the largest one. I don't like his large back strap.

Re: 10mm options and opinions

Hi Janik, Take a look at the Witness Hunter. It comes with a 6" barrel and the frame is pre-drilled for scope or red dot mounting. It is SA and I think it has a safety instead of a de-cocker. The 6" barrel will give a boost in velocity and help with recoil. Will also give a longer sight radius if yo...

Where are you buying CR1632 batteries for your Venom? There are a bunch on Amazon but worried about getting fresh batteries that hasn't been sitting on the shelf for a year or so. Anyone know the shelf life of the CR1632 battery? If I buy a card of five batteries will some self discharge before I ca...

Re: Long range shooting.

Hi runeight,

I think you have picked a good one. I have not use one but have a pair of Lica 10 x 40 binoculars and they are great. The rangefinder is probably made in Portugal.

Re: Disappointed

Have you tried switching barrels between the two guns to compare accuracy. I don’t know how you can judge accuracy shooting offhand. I suggest you shoot from a rest to see the true accuracy of your guns.

Hi Janik, The Express style sight is a proven sight used on big game rifles for quick, close shots. When I built big bore rifles in Alaska the back up sight was always the English Express sight with a big shotgun bead on the front. Express sights on a rifle are extremely fast to align for close in s...

Re: Your First Canik

My first and only Canik is the PT9SF. My neighbor wanted to go shooting and he had a Kel Tec that was just awful. I suggested he look at some other guns and took him to a local gun range with a good selection of guns. They had a Canik SA for sale at a really low price. I was surprised that he bought...

The APX came out just before I bought my Canik SF. The trigger on the APX was terrible compared to the SF. I liked the APX except for the trigger. Maybe they have improved the trigger by now??

Re: Beretta APX Combat

It looks to me that the rear sight is to low to see over the rear of the Burris Red Dot. Probably the same problem with the front sight. Maybe it is just the perspective of the picture.

Re: Slide assist

Hi Deepthot, Tandemkross has one for the Glock. I have one of the Tandemkross charging loops on my S&W Victory. I would contact Tandemkross and see if they can help you out. They are always looking for new products. I think there would be a market for the Canik FSx. Frank https://thumb.ibb.co/cfJSAA...
