Re: Gun Blueing, where?

Take a look at Ford Refinishing in Crystal River, Fl. They do it all. Some excellent pictures on their site.

Re: Mobile 1 Lube for TP9SA

Hi GaCop, I don't use motor oil to lube or protect my guns. First off you won't get the same level of corrosion protection. Motor oil protects by emersion and you will need to keep you gun wet for the best protection. Motor oil does give good lubrication but I don't know how good that would be if th...

Re: TP9SF - Coming This Week

Hi Hipshot50,

I have the SF and never had any problems with shooting 115 grain loads. I have shot S&B, Fiocchi and Magtech. They all operated great with no FTE or FTF. Just stay away from low velocity rounds while you break it in a bit.

Hi runeight,

That looks like a Llama 1911. Llama is a long time gun maker. Has been around since the early 1900. I don't know much about this model but they made a bunch of pistols during WWII. I remember selling Llamas at a gun store I worked at in 1952.

Re: Freedomsmith trigger = light strikes

I see that MSC has 1/16" x 1/4" roll pins for $2.85/100. That should fix you up for a lifetime. I did a search for 1/16 x 1/4 roll pin and got a lot of places that sell them. I think yesterday there was a thread about Canik spare parts from somebody. The had stripped Down some used guns and were selling parts. They may have what you are looking for. Have you tried Century?

Re: Good set of punches

Hi Janik, I use a short starter punch set from Grace. I have found that after you get the pin to move initially it is easier to drive the pin the rest of the way out. The problem with the started set is you need a few longer punches to align parts and finish driving out the pins. https://www.amazon....

Re: Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory

Hi Janik, I have been shooting the Victory for several months. Have done lots of mods. I paid $320 for the threaded barrel model. Has been a really good gun. I tested from a rest and it is very accurate shooting Blazer ammo with factory barrel at 7-10 yards. I let my buddy shoot it and he bought one...

Re: Tuning Freedomsmith Trigger

I don't understand some of the comments. Freedomsmith ask that the trigger be returned so they can look at it. Don't you think if there is a problem with their trigger they would want to see it. I may have been the first to have the safety break and Freedomsmith ask me to send in the broken safety. ...

Anyone interested in the 22LR Ruger Precision Rimfire Rifle should join the RimfireCentral.com forum and do a search for the Ruger gun. Hi inletguy, I have a TP9 SF. Don't know if the grip inserts are the same on the SFx but I assume they are. I have two grip inserts, a 1 and a 2. The two is slightly flatter than the 1. I have small hands and like the number 1 the best with the more rounded back. The best way to tell which is best i...

Re: Who Owns a JEEP???

I had a 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser that I bought new in Texas. A great Jeep that I had for 5 years. Not one problem except the rear main bearing leak oil. Seemed to be a problem with the Toyota straight six from 1970.

Yes, I use it fairly often. When I have responded to a question and some time has passed, I go to MINE to look back at the thread. An example is when Canik was asking about Big Sights and I responded. A couple of weeks later I remember his question and went to MINE to see if he had bought the sights...

Please don't drop the "New" and "Mine". I use the new button 6-8 times a day. I also use the mine button often to follow up on my post. Why would you take steps backwards by deleting these buttons. What you need to do is make them known and how to use them, then everyone would be using them. Every t...

Interesting that one Republican, one Democrat and one independent are sponsoring the bill but it ends up being “Republicans pushing the bill.” No political bias here.
