That ten-foot five-inch pistol upper is going to be a sight to see!
LOL, I can't believe it took that long for someone to point out my error.
I went back to make sure it wasn't me.

Re: What's on your "must have" buy list for 2020?

2. A decent, yet affordable, 1911. Isn't this an oxymoron? I didn't say "decent, yet inexpensive, 1911". I fully expect to pay more than what a Canik would cost, but I have to draw the line somewhere below $900. It'll mostly be a range toy or a BBQ gun, so I can't justify tying up too much in it un...

Re: What's on your "must have" buy list for 2020?

My 2 cents having owned both, both are good guns but having the extra capacity in the Taurus is very nice. I've got a Beretta M71, so 8 rounds and only one factory mag. The aftermarket mag almost works after lots of fighting with it. My LGS has been able to get a pretty good deal on the Taurus, usu...

Re: Watch for falling Iguanas....!!!

There's a fine line for gator between not-quite-cooked to over-cooked. At least for fried gator tail tots/bites. BBQd is more forgiving, like a roast pig.

Iguana can be tough, but it's good fried and grilled. Granted, I've only had someone else make it.

Re: What's on your "must have" buy list for 2020?

1. Possibly selling off my 10.5" upper and getting/building a KINO replacement. 2. A decent, yet affordable, 1911. 3. Building out my lower that ends in *458 into a .458 SOCOM. 4. .38spl LCR that my wife wants. 5. Something in .308 or 6.5cr. Though, both may be overkill for Florida deer. Magpul is m...

Ugh, any news on the PSA MP5?
The PSA FB pages are pushing that it'll be out this year. MSRP is consistently being quoted at $1200.

We called them tree chicken, and my neighbor knew how to cook them right.

One of the quirkier things that I miss about South Florida sometimes.

I did not, but I did get to see the SpaceX launch from downtown Orlando this morning. Even with the cloud cover, the booster stage tearing itself apart was pretty impressive.

Still holding out for the DA in Elite or SC configuration.

Not Canik, but it would be nice if Avidity Arms could get their PD10 to market. #whenitsready is getting kinda old.

I've got a box like that, but it's mostly Critical Duty and XTP. There's a few HST in there since I switched over last year.

Aww, c'mon. That couldn't have taken more than a weekend. Especially without doing the granite.

Great results, though.

Re: Canik Fanatik Hoodies still available

Any comment on fit? Typically I wear a XXL (cuz I played football and like beer so back off :) ) but I find at times that some tops marked as XXL are "athletic cut" or some other odd sizing that doesn't quite work for me. Example, I have an Under Armor hoodie that I love that I got for buying a cas...

Color me intrigued, but how well will these adhere over roll marks on the mag well? And it's 2 decals for the same side of the mag well?

ASP, I.C.E Training/PDN, and USCCA all have online resources about safe appendix carry. John Lovell has a great video about AIWB for bigger guys.

Re: What is your preferred way to conceal and carry?

Holsters, now there's a subject. I have a drawer full of them. Tried all the latest and greatest. Love the ads stating "the last holster you'll ever buy". Fact is that holsters are a real trial and error proposition. Some feel great walking but not sitting. Some are fine sitting but not walking, an...
