Mantis told there is no way to do online comps. But you xan set training benchmarks and still train. Im sure you could still do a group shoot and go by scores. You could set up one of the drills, or combo to run, and post a screenshot with the score and timestamp from the phone. Just start a Mantis...
@GlennSFX i know you can train together but ive seen whefe they have done competitions with it as well. I was thinking the same thing a big CF virtual shoot etc.... Yeah i may have to break the videos up but think it woild be good to get the info out there for potential buyers. DEFINITELY!!!!! :-BD
Videos up guys. Please subscibe to my channel im plannin on making a few more videos about the X10 and follow me on Instagram @Wildland_Outdoors. Nice job with the video, I did subscribe. It would be interesting to see how the groups work, especially if you get one for the CF forum group. If you ha...

Hey Ghostwolf308 ...MONEY WELL SPENT!!! I purchased one a couple months ago, and can't say enough good about it. I bought it to bring some detailed analysis to my dry fire training. It also has a number of training drills which allows you to focus on trigger control. There's also three "Shootin...

@GlennSFX I actually got a penalty last weekend for dropping a mag that had ammo moving between cover so I wouldn’t run out at the next step.. I was like what the hell are you talkin bout??? To the SO... at my nearest range it’s steel and IDPA and I get to see my scores on practiscore which is cool...
IDPA and USPSA are two different animals. Each has different equipment requirements and how the stages are approached as well. Like LT USN (Ret.) said, it depends on how serious you want to be involved with it. Up here, it's about a 50/50 split between IDPA and USPSA matches, so that's why I shoot b...
Seems there hasn't been much activity here. Shot an IDPA match Sat and had a pretty good day. Stage 6 was interesting, first time I've had to shoot the gun while carrying something the entire stage. Stage was called "9mm Madness". As with all IDPA stages, it has a scenario..."While bu...
Thanks. I will keep some cards to show what the results are. Just did some training and had a little breakthrough. Normally on 'fast' shooting, just after the shot I just wait and see where the gun would end pointing to (2cm up down, left right, I don't mean to the other side of te range :d ), then...
That's an interesting course of fire. Closest thing to that I've shot, would be the IDPA 5x5 Classifier. 25 shots all from a static standing position at 10 yards. Includes 5 shots strong hand only, and a 5 reload 5 string. Just to give you some sort of time comparison, I ran the course of fire in 17...
Shooting strong or support hand only, is something that just takes practice. It's mainly about trigger control, and not trying to fight the recoil. For us "dot" shooters, it's all about trusting the dot, and not anticipating the recoil on the trigger pull. Your splits are going to be slowe...
Shot a Steel Challenge match yesterday. This pretty much summed up my day!!!! l-) ... https://youtu.be/X5S1n4J3Jpc Was stomping on the accelerator a little to hard. The one thing you have to do, is make sure to "see" the hits on the plates, especially the stop, and not just go by sou...
Agree with BentAero , the only reason to be looking for "really" light/crisp trigger is for a competition gun. 3-3.5 pounds would be a nice low weight for a range/comp gun, but light in terms of a carry gun. My SFx was setup strictly for competition use. Got the trigger as good as it was g...
3# 10.5 oz out of the box 2# 6.6 oz after polishing and new plunger spring 2# 5.5 oz after FreedonSmith trigger. My SFx build thread if interested... https://canikfanatikforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=270 If done properly, under 2# is perfect for competition if done right. Current gun is below that and i...
IDPA match at a local club. Based on the final standings, looks like @GlennSFX burned down most of these stages...nice shooting Glenn. I am still way too inconsistent...good stage, followed by a bad one. For this match I had a stage with 9 points down. Decided to get cute and try to "game"...

I shot my Combat a couple times in IDPA just to try it. At the time my SFX was my primary comp gun. The relative bore axis of the Combat is the same as the SFX, so theoretically they should be similar. You'll have a little more recoil to deal with, but nothing to worry about. The barrel on the SFX i...
