Re: Need some advice on compatabile competition mag pouches for Tp9sfx

As others have mentioned, the Black Scorpion Comp mag pouches are very nice. They have plenty of adjustment and the mags can be positioned they way you like them. https://i.ibb.co/0ZdGXHb/Redhill-Holster-3.jpg For a holster I initially started with the SMC and still use it for the few IDPA matches I...

Re: New Canik Team Member

Going to be the Dad that brags for a minute, but proud of the work this girl has put in this year so I had a jersey made for her and had to put some Canik love on there. Along with support from Smoky Mountain Concealment I'm excited to see what next season brings. https://i.ibb.co/R44gSk2/71495629-...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

Haven't used the Sport Pistol yet. I had another 1 lb bottle of TG and decided to just use it seeing the press is all setup for it. Also shooting the 2019 Carolina Classic this weekend and didn't have time to test out a new recipe.

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

Notice in the picture the reach of my thumb. While my thumbs are opposed :d , they are not very long. I'm getting an extended mag release to see if that makes it a little easier. It's one of those things you just have to try. The SFx has three different lengths for the mag release, base extension, ...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

At the request of @GlennSFX videos from this weekends USPSA Match. Hey LT USN (Ret.) ... Couple nice runs there!!! I think if you spend a little time doing some dry fire reloads, you'll quickly get it mastered. Here's a few constructive points... First...you want to grab the mags from the carrier w...

Re: Range Trip with the Splatterburst Target Stand and ProMags

The ProMags I've discussed in a different thread, but I purchased them for $14.99, which is quite a bit cheaper than Canik mags. I purchased them for range use only, and so far have about 500 rounds through them with zero issues. I'm going to run them exclusively at the range for now on till I expe...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

Shot my one IDPA match for the month and set two new "firsts"... First...I managed to get my first stage win! :-D Felt good from start to finish. https://youtu.be/V6_4qVPfC9g https://i.ibb.co/tDVFtt4/Stage-1-Match-Win-1.png Second...I took my first "DIGGER"! :o From the start position there was a pi...

Re: Reloading with sprinco recoil management

Its just no where near like the guy in the video. his gun barely moves when he fires! Mine kicks like a NATO round though ive only reloaded 50 rounds. Your gun will run flatter when shooting a subsonic round...heavier bullet with a lighter load. It's more of a "push". The Federal Syntech I mentione...

Ok...brass. I read it as your bullet was only going that far when you said "shot out the chamber". I blame a long work day...

Just ignore me :D
:)) ...We refer to those as "DRIBBLE" rounds!!!

Re: Reloading with sprinco recoil management

wow that video helped understand a lot what should be going on. My 1st 50 reloads definitely shot out the chamber about 4 or 5ft from me. My chronograph just came in the mail today so i will keep experimenting. I guess what my real question is as far as the recoil management system is I'm wondering...

Re: Reloading with sprinco recoil management

Your recipe should be based on a Power Factor that you're trying to achieve. I reload for competition with 145g RN ACME bullets and TiteGroup right now. Have to test some "Sport Pistol" which is similiar to TG but cleaner. I have 4#s of it, but just haven't had time to try it. My chrono numbers tran...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

Great runs. Congrats on winning your division. I could not physically do #6 with my back as it is. One big "no shoot" for me. As Clint Eastwood said, "A man has got to know his limitation". X_X Thanks! They had some challenging stages for sure. Fortunately I can still move around fairly quickly. I ...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

Finally took some "ME TIME" off from the kitchen project to shoot the Aiming For Zero Match in NH this past Sunday. It's a charity match with the proceeds going to help prevent veteran suicide. Second one I've shot and have to say they've been two of the best matches I've been to. Shot well to. Won ...

Re: Reloading for USPSA Carry Optics

I’ve looked for sport pistol locally and cannot find it. I will have to suck up the shipping fees and order a few pounds of this and that in the near future. Been away for a little while... Super busy at work and doing the kitchen over has been a huge project!!! Hoping to have it completed be...

Re: Post your "MATCH" videos/pictures here.

Shot a USPSA match today, and man was it hot!!! Now I know how LT USN (Ret.) feels! Shot well except for stage 3, the classifier...figures. On the last string reload, weak hand only, I completely lost the dot! Overall I finished 5th for the match. Best stage finish was 3rd. Got 3 of the...
