Re: Need opinions

Well I went and purchased the Elite from Preppers. Awesome price (on sale for $299). I hope to have it by next weekend. for some reason the pic isn't showing properly. If you click on it everything shows up.

Great discussion...all relevant opinions and feedback, but of course, the best answer is buy both. That's what I would do... \M/

Re: Need opinions

I agree with TL1000RSquid. An Elite can be found for just over $300 ($320 shipped). I'd take a G45 in a second for that price. Now, it also comes down to what you are using it for. I don't have a G45...yet, but I have a 19 and shoot a 17 here and there. To me, there is a huge difference in their gr...

Re: Need opinions

The price tag is around the $400 mark. The Elite is not the Elite One. It comes with the full kit with 2 mags (not that it is a big deal on the 2nd mag). I have a couple of Caniks already but don't have a Glock in my inventory or an Elite. The one thing the G45 has going for it is the longer grip wh...

Need opinions

I have a hard choice.

I am able to get the Canik Elite and a Glock 45 for the same price basically ($5 difference). Both are brand new. Which would you choose?

Re: 1911 Build: FINISHED!!!!

Twice the cost is no joke. I was looking at the cost of kits. Oh then the jigs. I do have a family member that has several big boy mills that might be helpful with not needing to get the jigs.

ehh I think my first 1911 will be an already built one.

Re: 1911 Build: FINISHED!!!!

You guys are totally making me jealous. My nephew has been bugging me to build my own 1911 instead of buying an already built one. All your pics has me almost ready to click the buy now button. Those are awesome!

I am just a bit south of Badger and they are calling for 4-10 inches of snow. 4 towards the southern boarder of WI 10 going north. Near Badgerboy it might be 12 inches.

As above, basic civics according to the Constitution is not taught anywhere from elementary through post-grad college. It is nothing but socialist propaganda. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to reverse this brainwashing, so I naturally fear for the future of my country. I have walked Omaha...

Please someone tell me to wake up and its a bad dream.

So today I got notified of a new Guns and Gadgets Youtube video. The title caught my attention "New York Toy Gun Exchange is LIVE". Here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9AfN7BiwTc . I couldn't believe that they have actually started asking children to turn in their toy guns in exchange...
