We just have to send sleepy Joe back to bed. Next year things should go back to normal.

Re: A Guy shoots up local Bass Pro Shop.............

That's just weird. Guy has all these guns and he shoots up a store. He's losing all those weapons and ammo I assume.

Not as great as $399, but PSA has them again for $499. Got one on the way.

Re: Ammo availability

If you must buy ammo, 40 is a good bit cheaper than 9mm now. I only have one 40, but I'm glad I do!

Re: Range ammo - bulk purchase

I was on a ammoseek this morning. $550 for a cheap case of 9mm! Whoa. In comparison 40 Smith & Wesson is somewhat reasonable. Around $320 a case.

Ameriglo Hawthorne sights

I decided to try these on my 43X. They really made a big difference in my ability to shoot this pistol well. Since I've had an Elite, I really liked the solid black rear and a bright front sight. The front post on the Hackathorn is a night sight, but I really love how bright the orange is. It just s...

Re: Concealed carry and single stack thoughts

I have a Glock 43X that is easily the most comfortable 9mm I own to carry. With that said I don't own any of the other brands of similar sized models. If I was you I would go to a large gun store and see what you can find that feels good in your hand. How you carry a gun may depend on your build. I'...

Re: Ammo availability

What's funny is .40 and 10mm, I can find cheaper than 9mm some places. And more available. In these panic times 9mm is the 1st to go. Owning weapons in several calibers is advantageous. And who sets the price on ammo? Use Federal for an example. They are selling everything they can make and they are...

Beretta 92 FS compact

PSA email this morning had this in the daily deal, $399. I've wanted one. I imagine it's a shade bigger than an elite? The FS compact is a 4.25" barrel with 13 round mags. And when I clicked on it they were already sold out of them. Anyone owned one? They get more for that price I'll be all about ge...

Re: "Worst gun I ever bought was..."

I have the Rock Island "clone" of the Para Ord. in .40. It's pretty new and I'm just getting loads worked up for USPSA (Limited Major) but so far it's been great; eats everything I've thrown at it. Will be finalizing a load and accuracy testing soon, and then off to competition. Am looking forward ...

Re: "Worst gun I ever bought was..."

I had a ParaOrdnance double stack .45. I loved the feel of the gun, I have bit hands and it filled out great. Unreliable as hell. I was lucky to get a full magazine through it. Didn't matter what ammo. This was back in the mid 90's. Maybe they got better but Ill never have one again. I'm surprised....

Re: Church safety...

Going to church is at the same threat level of Walmart. Simply you need to keep alert. The big difference is your back is usually to the door. I seat myself far to the left side for an easier view and can engage a shooter quicker. Left side cause I'm left handed! That's my plan.

I blast mine with brake clean. Which has dries pretty good by itself. Then blow it with compressed air. Q tip around to clean up. Then a little Ballistol on moving parts.

Re: Mossberg guys?

Congrats on the new to you Mossberg. That's a good deal! I never fired a 12 guage 3 1/2 inch. I did own a Marlin supergoose, 10 guage 3 1/2 inch with a 34" barrel. It was heavy and the recoil wasn't bad. I also had a 16 guage H&R single shot that wanted to rip your shoulder off with high brass. Last...

Re: Ammo availability

At first my thought was, I have plenty of ammo and after Trump is reelected prices will go down and I'll restock. Then I thought what if Biden wins. I don't want to go to deep into my supply. Yesterday I was on Ammo seek. South Georgia Outdoors had 1000 Magtech 9mm for $279. $19 for shipping. No tax...

Re: Anyone shoot 10mm

Glock 20 here. It's all stock except traction grips. Right now 10mm ammo is much more available than 9mm or .40. And the prices haven't really jumped up on it so much. I have a 9mm Springfield XDG and wouldn't mind trying out the Springfield 10mm version too.

Re: Any Glocksters out there have the G 43X?

It feels a lot smaller than a 19 carrying IWB. I'm very pleased with it. I carry mine in a Red X IWB holster and it's a real comfortable set up. I like the full length grip. Personally I wouldn't spend the money on the shield arms mags. But it is an attractive option.

Re: Firearm Insurance

I have a great agent at Erie. She added my firearms to an existing inland marine policy (funny the name cause there is no boat involved). My wife's diamond ring and a couple other things were on there. I gave every detail, night sights, optics and even specific colors and of course serial #s. The co...
