Another option is a PCC on the AR platform using standard Pmags. Works quite well.
Standard Pmags? As in 223? Or are they Pmags that are specifically for 9mm rounds? I'm not familiar with this option. Also, is that a 223 lower, with a 9mm upper then?

Re: PC Carbine for Canik Mags

Yeah, the KelTec Sub2k has a model that will accept TP9-series mags. There is a multi-mag option, that lets you swap the catch for different model mags. Here's some info: https://www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-multi-mag-options-explained.aspx Editing to add... That's the one on my short wish list....

Re: PC Carbine for Canik Mags

The Ruger PCC looks pretty nice too If you decide to go with the Ruger, take a look at the newest version. This is #1 on my buy list and will be topped with a HE510C-GR Elite. https://ruger.com/products/pcCarbine/specSheets/19122.html https://holosun.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=50&pr...

PC Carbine for Canik Mags

I'm wanting to get a PCC that will accept Canik magazines. I've seen people in the past post on social media that they have a PCC that their Canik magazines work in. I can't seem to locate the old posts. I can't remember if it was a Kel-Tec, or what it was that you could use Canik mags in. I'm prett...

Re: Stainless Steel Guide Rods

The weights you see are the guide rod springs. Some firearms, like Glock, use poly guide rods. Nothing wrong with them as they are well proven however some people prefer to upgrade. I being one of them. I've read online from people that say they change out their RSA's about every 5,000 rounds. Does...

Stainless Steel Guide Rods

What are the real benefits of purchasing an aftermarket stainless steel guide rod? I've seen people post about it in the FB groups, and I noticed that Galloway Precision has a SS guide rod for the Elite as well as the DA/V2. They have three weights listed, 20, 22 and 24lbs. My assumption is, differe...

Re: Buy it cheap, stack it deep

With all the rhetoric coming from the Left regarding "gun control", I'm definitely going to start taking advantage of some of the ammo deals I'm seeing. Especially how cheap 22lr is right now, along with 9mm and 223/5.56. Given all the bluster coming from the Left, I do really think in a couple few ...

AR 47

Anyone have an AR47 and care to share their experience with it? I've looked at them once in awhile on PSA's website but not sure if I want to go that route or not. I'd prefer an AR style over the AK, but I wonder if there's issues. I've read good and bad reviews online, but I'm wondering if any memb...

Re: Leather Grips

Very cool. I like to see innovation and new options. I will have to try a set down the road. I would imagine they wouldn't be as grippy as Talon or Traction Grips, but for a range/home defense gun they probably work well. And I really like the ability to add a design to them.

Re: Beretta APX Combat

Damn, another gun I can't afford, but looks good. I really didn't care for the APX when it first was released, but it's really starting to grow on me. If I had to choose between this and the Elite Combat, I'd probably pick the APX solely because of the rear iron sight. Only thing is though, when loo...

Re: AR-SBR-Shotgun etc. for home defense

I live in a duplex with neighbors close by. I do have a handgun at the ready in the nightstand, but I'm wanting a little more firepower in the event of a home invasion. If I could afford to live in the country, I'd definitely prefer that. Thanks for the tip on the electronic ear muffs. I've been wan...

AR-SBR-Shotgun etc. for home defense

I've had my AR set up for awhile for home defense, but have recently went back to my shotgun. I've read compelling arguments on both sides of the discussion as to what is the best option. Ideally, I'd like to eventually get an SBR or pistol AR for home defense, but for now am limited to my standard ...
