I ordered the lighter spring about a month and a half ago and received a notice 2 days ago it was being shipped. I let them know via e-mail that the original spring was too strong for ammo and they are sending it at no charge.

Went to an Atwoods and then Bass Pro in Tulsa today. Saw a new SFX for $429 and a much higher priced one at Bass Pro right down the street. I have a lot of .556 ammo so haven’t priced it recently. Is $430 for a case of 1000 the going rate these days? Bass Pro has 5 cases left in stock. https://i.ibb...

I’ll give that a FrankW. On a separate note, just saw a post you had on FS trigger bite. Same thing is happening to me. Not sure what is causing it, but I did notice something weird when I installed the trigger. The slide stop lever hole and trigger were really tight against each other when I tried ...

Had mine measured at the gun range today. Three pulls averaged 4 10. Have a Champion Freedomsmith trigger and Springco reduced power spring kit. Have only shot between 300-400 rounds. Love the trigger and there is “maybe” a mm pre-travel! Have noticed a little bite in trigger though for some reason....

I’m thinking in this order...
W74 guide rod
13 or 14 lb Wolff spring
6.5 lb ghost spring

Then holosun 507C Green

And add some weight with brass back strap

But that could change as I learn more here.

New member and purchased a SFX a few month ago. Been reading and learning from all the threads, which gave this extremely non mechanical guy the courage to install a Freedomsmith trigger and the Galloway reduced power spring kit tonight. And after an hour or two, great success! Can’t believe the dif...
