I bought the Henry 22 a couple years back, been thinking about a Marlin 60 and also the Marlin XT. The good thing about the lever action and the bolt action in 22 is that they will shoot most anything. The auto's can be a little picky. But all that said.......?....a 9mm carbine really sounds good. I agree.....there are many "different" handguns out there. Some are fairly easy to rack, others no so easy. I can just see someone carrying a Kahr pistol with an empty chamber. I do not know anything about reloading or loading specs- But Remington (for instance) list the velocity of their 115 gr HTP hollow points at 1140 fps. But for their Express +P 115 gr jhp its 1250 fps. Fiocchi lists their 115 CMJ at 1200 fps Fiocchi lists their 115 FMJ at 1250 fps.....??? whats the d...

Was your friends Canik 55 a hammer fired gun? If so- I have the C-100 model imported by Tristar.... In fact- I carried it all day yesterday in a UBG Regulator (leather holster) covered with one of my XL Canik Fanatic tee shirts.
