Re: Canik Noob from So Carolina

Welcome to the club, and congrats on the Elite. I have than gun and it shoots very well. If you think you like the PO7?.....take a look at Canik's hammer fired guns. I have the C-100 and its a clone of the CZ 75 compact. It is also a fantastic shooter. I did change out the hammer spring in mine to a...

Re: Hello from Aubrey TX

Welcome to the club TexasWing..........the DA is an excellent choice. If it (ed. It is) my favorite of all the striker guns. I dearly love that DA/SA trigger.
I have 2 of the DA's, the Elite and a C-100 hammer gun (among others)

Re: What's your favorite Canik model?

I'd have to give the C-100 the top spot, then the DA, and then the Elite. All good. I kinda feel like the Squid does- me like DA/SA handguns with "GOOD" triggers. My C-100 was good when I first got it- trigger pull; was a little on the heavy side (do not remember the numbers) til I put in a 13# (I t...

Re: Which One Is Next?

I agree with TL1000RSquid- get one of the hammer fired Caniks. I have the C-100 and they are just as good as the striker fired guns. I did change out the hammer spring on mine. I put in a 13# hammer spring from Cajun Gun works- I think $8. I compare it to my old model Sig 228. Shoots just as good. A...

Anyone ever heard of Pastalaya?

Think "Jumbalaya".....except instead of rice it has pasta in it.
Never heard of it before. But #1 son brought it home with him tonight.....I tried it. Pretty darn good. Loaded with chicken, beef, and sausage. A little on the spicy side for me, but darn good.
If you can find it- you should try it.
