Re: How's your gun purchases with the ammo shortage?

I mentioned it in another post, but I just got a part time job at Shoot Point Blank gun range and shop. Decent employee discount on guns, ammunition and accessories. Free full range membership too. I’m probably just going to tell them to not even bother with a paycheck, just transfer into store cred...

Re: How's your gun purchases with the ammo shortage?

Always looking but can't find what I want (at a reasonable price). I REALLY want the Ruger 9mm carbine based on the AR chassis but, if you find it, the price is nuts. I can wait for the world to tilt back to it's correct axis. Let me tell ya.... I bought one of those last year and all I can say is ...

Re: How's your gun purchases with the ammo shortage?

Interestingly enough, it’s really made me to start looking at calibers that I never had any interest in before. I did just buy a really nice Beretta M9 22lr a few weeks back. Looks, feels and operates just like my 92 9mm and have really been giving it a good workout. Been looking at .40 caliber, 9mm...

Re: Does Anyone Have Supply Chain Info?

I see Canik’s fairly regularly on gun.deals , as a matter of fact I saw the elusive white Canik for sale a couple of days ago. I start working part time at a local gun range in a few weeks, They actually have a decent selection of handguns right now. I didn’t notice if they carried Canik or not but ...

Re: Glock trigger upgrade

Typically I just do springs and connector like Gearhead im a fan of the ghost connectors, along with a little polishing and buffing with the dremel I find the upgrades adequate, I aquired a Glock in a trade that had a Pyramid trigger and for the price of it I'm not that impressed with it. I’d have ...

Re: Glock trigger upgrade

I doubt very seriously that I’ll go any further than swapping out triggers. Again this really is more for students and a loaner. I’ve got a couple of very higher end range toys that are my go to guns. I get that completely. Truth is that if you were to take it much further than this you’d be settin...

Re: Glock trigger upgrade

I really like Glocks, I hate Glock’s OE triggers. Some say you get used to it. I never could. The closest thing to being difficult when it comes to working on a Glock is paying attention when removing/installing the trigger pin. This pin also holds the Slide Stop Lever, it is notched and you have t...

Re: Glock trigger upgrade

That sounds different from what I watched. Maybe I’m not saying things right. The Glock trigger assembly seems to be a complete setup of trigger, linkage, etc. looks like you drop 3 pins, pull the old assembly out and drop the new one in.

I need to ask based on your post title... Are you wanting to use this pistol as your carry gun?

Glock trigger upgrade

Question, I came into a Glock 22 but with a 9mm threaded barrel. I absolutely HATE the stock trigger. I’ve watched a couple of videos on doing a trigger upgrade. For you Glock guys, is it as easy as it looks. No springs or 3 sets of hands to do the replacement.

Damn, could you guys blow some of that rain up here? We are dry as bone with nothing but 90's for the next few days.

Dang Neil, when you gonna get out of that state. Met a young man yesterday working at a gun range who just moved from Illinois. Couldn’t wait to get to Texas.

Re: DOUBLE THE FUN!

One looks like straight to me in Dallas. Better get some fuel for the generator. I'm at 85% in my 250 gallon tank, need to fill up my gas cans tomorrow though. My 85 year old mom lives in Houston, making plans to get her up to Dallas. Of course she’s stubborn. Her and my sisters all in Houston went...

Re: Cuttin’ it

Can’t help you there, but I gave up individual pistol cases a long time ago. Between eyes, ears, ammo, etc. a nice soft rug to hold the pistol is all I need.

Sorry, kind of went off topic.
