Re: Taurus Spectrum

Hi Janik, Just curious, why did you switch gears from the G2C to the Spectrum...Price? Or, are they both on your "list"? G2C is coming in at $182 on GunDeals.com..Still on my list. I have not shot the Spectrum, but enjoyed shooting the G2C. Neil 8-) Not to speak for Janik, but the G2C and th...

Re: Girsan .. hidden gem or stay away?

Ya the optic would be for my fathers enjoyment. He is not a fan of striker fire pistols and is a little old school. The 1911 is gun porn for him or a good revolver. The 1911 allows me to go 9mm easier if he thinks 45 is above his ability these days. I am probably sticking with 45 since it will undo...

Ok so optics mounting aside... how is the fit and finish of the pistol? Good bad and ugly? I want it all. I already read about the grip retaining screws being off ball so that’s no issue...what about the rest of the stuff
Would I buy again, Yes

It’s a Turkish gun, they make good firearms

Re: Girsan .. hidden gem or stay away?

First question I would have is the RMR Mount. Other RMR choices fit? Mounting plate only accepts the optic included? Yes, As you can see in the photo, the RMR mounting plate incorporates a standard rail mount along with the 2 screw hole that fits the included red dot... IMG_3237.jpg You are saying ...

Short version, I’ve only had 3 range trips and 150 rounds through it. Zero stovepipes. A few last round failure to feed, but that a magazine issue. As good as my RIA was. I’m pleased and like you said it comes with the milled slide.

I forgot to add S&W SD40VE. Bought it, put 50 rounds through it and sold it all within 48 hours. As a matter of fact I used that money to buy my first Canik. Guess you could say I went from worst to best.

Re: What handgun do you EDC the most?

Am I the only one who finds it strange that 98% of the respondents to this thread are carrying a non Canik firearm? But yet this is a Canik Forum? Lol No, not really.... The majority of CCW are smaller than even the Elite... Also many prefer lighter single stacks, or hammer fired or like in my case...

Re: St Paul gun show

I know, I’ve been itching for one myself. My problem is I don’t know what I’d do with it. I have the star super b already and I don’t shoot it either. If I saw one at a gun show for a good price I’d probably get it.

Re: Tp9da first shots

Love my DA's, and original V2's. The trigger will lighten up a little over time, as well as the RSA. I generally dump a couple boxes of NATO through a new Canik first because the RSA's are so stiff. But, once loosened up, they will eat anything. As for the trigger, they are pretty amazing, and in s...

Re: Tp9da first shots

Congratulations............ The DA is my favorite striker gun no doubt (I have 2). The trigger is just about perfect- without any mods! Since I am an old da/sa hammer gun enthusiast (Sig, Beretta, Bersa).... the trigger on the DA suits me well. I also have the Tristar (Canik) C-100.....another near...

Re: In need tp9 sfx level 3 holster

Try Alien Gear Holsters... I don't know if they make a level 3 or not. They make holsters for the SF, you may have to open the bottom up to fit the sfx. Here's the link for Safariland will fit charts... https://www.safariland.com/holsters-and-gear-resources/holster-will-fit-charts.html I don't see ...
