Re: New Wheel Gun

I've eyed some of the Taurus revolvers, some very good prices compared to everything else but always been hesitant to pull the trigger on one due to past Taurus rep even though they seem to be doing real good job turning it around lately. I'd like to do a scoped pistol. Right now my only wheel guns...

Re: New Wheel Gun

Since you are looking at Taurus?.......and if you would consider a blemish or refurb?- look at Kygunco. I saw a video yesterday (can't seem to find it now) where they were unboxing 4 pallets of blems/refurbs- all come with lifetime warranty, and 100% money back including shipping if you turn it dow...

Re: New Wheel Gun

If youi are going to put an optic on it, I think you are on the right path. I think the taurus will be fine for whatever you want to do with it. I don't have safe queens, even the like new 1906 .22 Winchester rifle I got passed down from my dad's Uncle, I shoot it. I have three 66's. A 2.5", 3" and...

It takes work but it it is worth it.

Hey Tejas, what what was the other signature line you told someone about the other day. I thought it was funny but couldn't find it.
I bought a chicken and an egg from Amazon.... I'll let you know.... (or I'll let you know which one arrives first.....)

New Wheel Gun

I've had in my collection for some 30 odd years a Smith and Wesson model 66-3, 6 inch stainless with original wood grips... I just can't sing its praises enough.... That being said... with several thousand rounds through it, I'm thinking of relegating it as a safe queen.... It was a family owned gun...

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

I’ve looked at them. I rarely load full magazines while at the range, so I don’t know if I would get much benefit. I usually do 5 rds in 3 magazines to shoot 15 rds over stuffing 1 mag full. I usually only load 10 but even the stock loader makes it easier. I’ve only been shooting for a little over ...

Re: Nice day at the range - with a couple obscure pieces

Very cool, everytime I see a good deal on the PMR I consider buying one. Have you had any issues with feeding/mags or anything? The M70A is the 9mm Tok or am I thinking of a different Zastava? Got a real Tok more interested in a 7.62x25 pistol thats not a Tok then one in a different caliber :) My p...

Re: New Pachmayer Wrap around grips

How is the Girsan working out for you? I've taken it to the range 3 times so far... I've probably put 250 rounds through it with no jams or anything.. I've had a few last round failure to feed, but I have seen that on a couple of other 1911's in the past.. those usually work themselves out... The r...
