From what I read the Shield and the Viper deals were a bust. Whoever made that package decision was probably not an engineer or a smart guy.

While still a niche gun, I think they have people's attention a bit and should try to capitalize on it. This is absolutely true, and I dont think they did themselves any favors by partnering with shield on the sc. Heard a lot of bad things about that sight, and cutting corners with quality on optic...

+1 on the .45! Still hoping for a SFx45! Lose the red dot cutout. I just don't care. Not going to use that on the Sub Elite. Might put one on the SFx someday for grins, but that's it. Big one? External hammer! I would love an SFe model. I've always liked chambered/hammer-down/safety-off for carry. ...

What features would you want on a new Canik model?

What features would you want on a new Canik model? Seems like Canik keeps putting out new models, and I'd like to think they will continue to do so. -Co-witness feature for optics ready models Seems like the 'Canik trend' for their optics-ready handguns has been to keep the 'loaded chamber indicator...

Re: Night Sights for Canik (Night Fision and Others)

Do the night fisions work for the 'elite sc'? The description mentions the elite, but not the elite sc. Thinking about a white front with the green tritium in the middle, but the orange seems good for when it gets dark.

Shot close to 1k rounds through one, and they are fantastic, reliable, easy to shoot and accurate. I prefer the white dot sight on the front, as they are easier to line up, but thats preference.

Re: Models tested for 60,000 rounds

Its amazing that some of the models are tested for 60,000 rounds. People could be using these things in the year 3000 AD. Seems like this characteristic of the firearm sets it above almost all other brands. Big selling point, but currently not well known looking at their website. Could be legal issu...

Models tested for 60,000 rounds

I've been researching Canik for awhile, and recently came across a YT video of a competitive shooter who has put 10,000 rounds through his stock TP9 SF. Everyone wants a trustworthy and reliable firearm. Why isn't Canik pushing the fact that their TP9 SF is tested for 60,000 rounds more? According t...
