Re: Practice Ammo

I got a good deal on a bulk purchase of Speer Lawman 124 grain ammo so that's what I'm practicing with now and especially since my SD rounds are Federal HST 124 grain. I'm not a competitive shooter so all of my practice is geared toward SD so this works out well for me. I will say that Speer Lawman ...

Re: What handgun do you EDC the most?

My main carry is Ruger SR9c but will switch in the SA XD Mod 2 subcompact. In summer, depending upon what I'm wearing and where I will be, I pocket carry (in pocket holster) a Ruger LCPII. Really wanting to get a Sig P365 and it will become my #1 carry. My son has one and I really like it. Small, 10...

Re: Good deal

I concur and while they are inexpensive, they definitely aren't cheap. Nice knives with decent steel at a great price. Can't go wrong with them. Not great slicers because of the grind they use but excellent general use knives.

Re: EDC Preference

Generally IWB at about 4 oclock with a StealthGear holster. I rotate between a Ruger SR9c and SA XD Mod 2 subcompact. Will slide the holster towards the front when driving or sometimes just remove it depending upon how long I'm on the road. During the summer I frequently pocket carry (in holster) my...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

It will not be as small at the 365. The dimensions are available. It will effectively be a shorter slide and grip than the Elite, but otherwise the same general feel. It is targeted at a slightly different market, not the absolute smallest EDC, but hopefully less expensive (I am betting on $400 str...

Re: CANIK TP9 SUB ELITE

Really interested how the sub will compare size-wise with the Sig P365. That is a REALLY compact double stack. My son has one and I really like it's size, how it handles but wish the trigger was a little better. If the Elite SC is anywhere near that size with the nice Canik trigger.........

I'm in. I have an SFx and been looking at the FreedomSmith trigger. Spring kit would go great with that.

Re: Striker or Hammer for Conceal Carry?

Don't really have a preference but currently all of mine are striker fired. Well, that's not exactly true as I have a Ruger LCP II for the summer short season as it hides SO well. I think that is an internal hammer. Also carry Ruger SR9c or SA MOD2 subcompact. My son recently purchased a Sig P365. T...
