Re: New Member From Nashville, TN

Welcome. Not sure which one your talking about a few of the models come in that configuration. Can't go wrong either way with the TP9's or a PPQ.

Re: Which TP9 Would Be the Best All-Around Choice.

All around I'd say Elite as well. However if all around doesn't include using it as a carry weapon then I'd say SFX. Elite Combat could also be in the running if all around were to include being a suppressor host.

Re: New from the Netherlands with a ?

Yeah not sure if anyone can ship them due to ITAR and other reg's even though it shouldnt be a big deal since its going to another NATO country. BTW the $15 mags are promags you don't want those stick with the OEM MecGar's. I bought a promag in a pinch to make sure I had enough mags for a steel sho...

Re: New Wheel Gun

I've eyed some of the Taurus revolvers, some very good prices compared to everything else but always been hesitant to pull the trigger on one due to past Taurus rep even though they seem to be doing real good job turning it around lately. I'd like to do a scoped pistol. Right now my only wheel guns...

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

Do you guys that only load your mags full just shoot statically at a target, then reload and keep doing the same thing? I run drills or tests from the beginning to end of every range session. Sometimes using an empty mag, some drills require only a specific amount of ammo in each mag. I’ve seen a l...

Re: Any one tried one of these Speed loaders

Never realized that people load differently for the range. I always pre-load max mags and then at the range reload max mags. Shoot til the ammo runs out. Which means that the Lula (and a spare and a spare for that one) is pretty much mandatory. Same all my current mags that aren't still in packagin...

Love all my CZ's Shadow 2 is an amazing shooter. If I were to suddenly be limited to one manafactuer of guns I'd likely go CZ.

Re: Nice day at the range - with a couple obscure pieces

My problem is the price of the ammunition. $9-10 a box isnt to bad, a little more then 9mm, still cheaper to shoot then several other pistols. Oh, that’s not bad. I was seeing like .23 per round. I won’t pay more than.16 for 9mm Haven't even checked online prices but I was looking at ammo yesterday...

Re: Nice day at the range - with a couple obscure pieces

Very cool, everytime I see a good deal on the PMR I consider buying one. Have you had any issues with feeding/mags or anything? The M70A is the 9mm Tok or am I thinking of a different Zastava? Got a real Tok more interested in a 7.62x25 pistol thats not a Tok then one in a different caliber :) My p...

Re: Retention vs. the rest?

For concealed carry I dont use any holsters with retention you have to physically disengage, if I were an open carrier I would but carrying AIWB or IWB I want to just be able to yank it out.

Re: Sarsilmaz pistol comments

I was considering doing just that but if Zeda says the quality is questionable on the stuff they make I'll have to pass. If they were a bit cheaper like the price of the M&P trade ins I'd roll the dice on picking up a .45 and 9mm.

So if it's the same frame and slide, can you just swap barrels and mags for different calibers? Maybe I'm reading that wrong
Not sure one of the things that interested me about it though, probably would have to change extractors i imagine too.

Re: Sarsilmaz pistol comments

Ah ok thanks for the info, I will skip it for now and maybe scratch my .45 itch with a cheap m&p police trade in, or finally step up and buy the CZ.
